Imagine this - the ability to play your favourite arena shooter game... IN BROWSER, no download needed!

It's not an invite only closed beta from 2008, but apparently a Docker container.

This project is a non-commercial fan implementation and is not affiliated with or endorsed by id Software or ZeniMax Media. “Quake III Arena” and related trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

Only the officially released Quake III Arena demo data files are used. No full retail game assets are hosted, included, or required; all gameplay content is limited to files that id Software made publicly available for free.

The engine is based on ioquake3, an open-source project licensed under GPLv2. In accordance with the license, the source code for the modified ioquake3 WebAssembly build and supporting glue code is available upon request.

Actually this was said in ztn3tourney1 when elpajuo played very bad game and was obviously nervous as hell. Cooller had established a friendship with elpa so this was friendly thing to say. (from dm6 cooller can be quoted with YOU ROX)

The only one I know is true is the cooller \ elp thing, they are sort of friends. Though the "YOU ROX" felt like sarcasm, I'm sure it was meant as a compliment. But maybe not, cooller can get nasty when he's upset I guess :P

Honestly, the "not my trouble" translated word by word into russian w/o sense, and back into english, keeping sense, means "Just don't care". So we got here "not my trouble" = "just dont care"

I think the quotes could definetly use some more explanation. Someone who doesn't know cooller and his english skills might think pretty bad of him because of these. I follow the q3 tourneys and have an idea of what cooller is like, and i still have trouble seeing the humor in this poll.

Actually, my alltime favorite cooller story/quote... is from ESWC of 2004.

A big group of us were all waiting to go to one of the nightly parties, and I told them I needed to call my wife before I went to the event.

So I went in to use the phone, and cooller walks by. He stops at the phone and says,

"DJ weet, who are you talking to?"

I responded, "My Wife".

Cooller goes, "Ahhhh, trillian... ok"

And walks away.

Naw by far the best 1 cooller ever said was easily and i mean easily online match cooller-vs-F1rma (you can get it on cyberfight) When F1rma was all rail and beating cooller (honestly cooller is nothing without lan ping) so it was like 15-7 or something on ztn and F1rma started running from cooller cause cooller was gaining control of the map for the last 3 min. And when it hit 14 min mark and cooller knew he lost cause it was like 17-12 he stopped by the mega and just spammed.

During quakecon 04 etcz. bumped into cooller in the tournament area and mentioned to him that they were to play next,

etcz. "hey cooller, I play you next"

cooller "I Know"

he then walks off throwing some type of sweater over his shoulder, the way that he said it (raspy russian accent!) with his "teh Fonz" atittude just made the moment hysterical

it was definitely a "you-had-to-be-there" moment, but Habib and Etcz. were witness to this truly great cooller moment

Who is the best player in the world?
I think that Including the new promode maps CPM1a and hub3aeroq3 that have been used in last year's tournaments it is czm. He is the best on T4, CPM1a, Aerowalk and he's also good on DM6 and ZTN. Objectively speaking, he is the best prepared for tournament play of all players. After QuakeCon he deserves to be considered the best Q3 player in general.

And who would you call the best player in history? Perhaps you?
ZeRo4. He is a very good player, he worked himself a very good reputation until my time. About me - it is not really right to call oneself the best player. This would be insolent to the other players. This is why I will never say I am the best.
