With the launch of the WGA Network, we are gearing up for the 2013 season in a very big way! We are supporting ALL Quake Live Mods in our second season. We have prize money for all the divisions plus prizes throughout the season and if we have enough teams we will be doing casual and Pro Divisions so
that those players that play casually can also participate. We try to stream ALL of our games to give our sponsors the exposure they deserve and also to give the players the exposure they deserve as well. If you are interested in joining and of our leagues for the 2013 season, please go to www.worldgamersarena.com get yourself registered then click on ADD Group and add your clan to the site (If it has not already been added). Then invite all of your players to the WGA website or any of our network sites and have them register. Keep in mind that the WGA Network is a "social community" for all of your clan members, not just for the competitors. You'll want to invite everyone so they can support your team in the leagues.
All of your clan members will have access to your own private clan forums, chat, player cards and stats, game stats, live game broadcasts and so much more! Our goal here at the WGA is to bring the social aspects of this game together with the competitive systems to create a clan, community and fan

Hi, I'm not a Starcraft player, neither a H-L one. Just I knew about this forum but I don't often (actually never) pay attention to it.

I was bored, and I found an audio related to these two awesome games, yesterday (very old like if it were made back before the 2000, but I find it funny xD). So I did a video version of this one.

I didn't set any images intentionally, just some very simple (and little) effects in the background and some text, like "dynamic subtitles" style or something.


So I hope you find it funny as well I did with my edition.

Upcoming Sunday we will see the third cup of the FACEIT Quake Live Winter Season 2013: Sunday Cup #19. Last cup was won by evil, taking down Spart1e in arguably the shortest grand final in human history. This means the Russians is now leading the Winter Season chart, followed by dem0n and matr0x.

The cup will kick off at 09:00 CDT and check-ins open an hour before that, at 08:00 CDT. You can currently already sign-up. Every cup will have cash prizes, and next to that players will earn point. At the end of the season (31 March) the top eight will head into a $500 Championship Finale.

FACEIT TV will go live at 09:30 CDT, with your host United Kingdom Daniel "ddk" Kapadia, FFA hero Italy Antonio "unnamedtony" Servilio and community favorite Switzerland Memento_Mori!

Just a friendly reminder to all who have signed up for Furious Heights, the event begins at 18:00 CST, 10 February 2013. Sign ups are full but if more people want to play we will open it up and players can finish their matches throughout the week. Any open matches at the beginning of the next scheduled event will not count for points. Remember its all based on points so the more matches you play the better off you will be!

Playing around with the strafejump physics in RAGE. Feels like maneuvering a retarded refrigerator.

The only things that has been altered physics-wise is the damage taken and sprint time.

We are already in the second week, with bunch of quality matches to be played, especially with few reschedules and wildcards from last week.

Interesting match will certainly happen between team Croatia Croatia, who already played a good game against strong enemy (France), and team United Kingdom United Kingdom, for whom this will be the first game in the cup.

The TDM regular season is now over with some remaining catchup games left to be played. The deadline for these games is Thursday 28.2

The unplayed matches can be found here. All unplayed games will result in a double w/o if I'm not otherwise informed. All games can be reported to Finland frs

There will be a cup each week, so we need a different winner for each! At the end of 3 weeks (March 6th) we will be having a "Step it Up Duel Master Finals" event, where prior first- and second-place winners will be placed in a Bo5 single-elimination bracket!

We decided to change the rules:
Date/Time: Saturday February 23th 2013 – 14 PM CET

Painkiller Client Game: PK Lite


Client/Server: PK++ 1.2

Game Mode: Duel

Servers: PG Duel, PlayGround, killua-chan and other free duel server

Type: Best of 3, Double Elimination

Mappick: pick, pick, drop, drop. The upper player of the bracket picks first. The last remaining map will be the 3rd map(if needed).
Server Settings: Proplus and Rocketfix Enabled, Weapon Respawn Time 15

Time limit: 10

Overtime: 2 min

DM_Sacred

DM_1v1_meatless

DM_Absinthe

DM_Blink

DM_Psycho

Signed up players with the names of “Unnamed”, “Bezimienny” and all its derivatives will be kicked.

The loser bracket games should be played simultaneously to the winners bracket, so the cup won’t be delayed too much.
The servers have to have a password, the password published on IRC when the cup starts.
When both players join to a server, they have to make sure that the streamer is spectating, if they don’t see anyone, do restartmap.
All matches should be played on an even server for both players.

Check-ins will begin 1 hour before the start of the tournament. I will do a roll call in IRC 30 minutes before the start. Brackets will then be made and posted in IRC. If you checked-in and aren’t there for the roll call, then you will be removed from the brackets( unless otherwise noted/pardoned from this roll call ).

The February 2013 Standard arena rotation is now online. On the first Monday of each month, we will be cycling the Standard arena pool. Starting this month, we have upped the amount of standard arenas by three to a total of 24.

Newly released arenas will remain exclusive for at least three months, but every other arena is eligible to be included in the cycle.

End date: March 4, 2013
