And we are back with a new week of FACEIT Daily Cups, similar to last week. From Monday till Thursday we will be hosting cups for various Levels. Each cup starts at 14:30 CDT and check-ins open at 13:30 CDT.

Monday will see an open Level 4 cup, with a $10 prize. Tuesday and Wednesday will have the Level 6 and Level 8 cup respectively, with a prize of $25 and $1 buy-in. Finally, the Level 10 cup with a $40 prize and $2 buy-in will take place. In the map pool we welcome Sinister, which will replace Campgrounds.


We will once again stream the Level 10 Cup on Thursday, with the always charming United Kingdom Daniel "ddk" Kapadia, who is joined by community favorite Switzerland Memento_Mori! Tune in to FACEIT TV at 14:30 CDT! Update: Memento is unfortunately not available due to illness. We are currently looking for a replacement.

With the release of QL PP16, a number of important changes have been introduced to the duel map Sinister. We want to continue the series of one-map tournaments, testing the new version of this interesting map.

The cup will feature a prize pool of 175 $ sponsored by Switzerland Memento_Mori, United Kingdom Hippy and Germany Yellack. The tournament will run on Challonge, which has been integrated into Targetquake (read the player info). Targetquake will provide coverage and admins to run the cup.

Another sunday night with RtCW Fall Cup 2012 stream! We are already finished with the 2nd round of playoffs. Tonight's focus is on the loser bracket games and as well as the return of the one and only Canada DeeAy going live at 20 CET with pre-game show!

Hey guys, Blackout begins tomorrow! Games commence on next Tuesday and there have been some significant changes to the tournament. We have a new website, official seedings are released, the first three weeks of matches are released and there are some rule changes!

FACEIT is happy to present another step forward in our endeavours in Quake Live. Today we have launched the FACEIT QL Seasons, starting with the Winter Season.

As you all know by now, every Sunday we host a Quake Live cup, open to 128 players. In order to keep things interesting and have a goal for players to fight for, we will be giving out points every Sunday Cup, which will all be counted together at the end of a Season.

The top eight players with the most points will be invited to a $500 Season Championship Finale to decide who is the best of the season. Each Season will run three months. The Winter season will be kicking off this Sunday, with the FACEIT QL Sunday Cup #17. The Winter Season Finale will take place on Sunday 7 April.


All settings for the FACEIT Quake Live Sunday Cup #17 will be the same as the previous cup. Be sure to sign-up for the tournament to reserve your spot. It will kick off at 09:00 CDT and check-ins open an hour before that. Streaming will be provided on FACEIT TV, with casting by United Kingdom Xavier "Zoot" Dhorne and United Kingdom Daniel "ddk" Kapadia.

The Blackout TDM tournament begins this week, with matches commencing as of next Wednesday. In the build up to Blackout we will be looking to provide some thoughts on currently registered teams, chiefly, to allow players unfamiliar with the scene to get an idea of who’s who, but also to give teams a chance promote themselves. In addition to a brief analysis, we’ll also rank the teams, and predictions of where we think teams will place.

Finally, we have also conducted a series of short interviews with players across the board. Altogether we managed to get many players to talk to us, all of which will be included. Players that responded include, Q3TDM legend Sweden Reptile, highlight reel jammers Finland ahxnxa, Finland ovo and Netherlands Terifire, as well a slew of other players.

Welcome to the first, of a seven round robin event! These events will take place approximately twice a month over the next eleven weeks (taking in account for National Holidays and the Superbowl). Every week we will host a single map round robin event. You will play every player that has signed up for the event on the chosen map for that week. Participant cap each week will be 16, once the cap is reached, additional participants will be added to a wait list. Players will receive points for participating, and winning. At the end of these Round Robin Events we will take the top ten players with the highest points and host a ten player best of three event, the finals will be a best of five! The maps for the finals will be the ones from the Round Robin events, there will be no surprise maps added to this event. The Grand Finals have not been scheduled yet in order to confirm that all ten points finalist will be able to attend.

The Moscow Quake LAN Party cups happen twice a year - in Winter and Summer. The previous summer LAN Party happened in the end of August, so it's time for the next LAN! This time the official disciplines are QL Duel and QL TDM 2v2, with other unofficial game modes appearing on the following day. Furthermore, this event will be played in one of the most old school Internet cafes: FlashBack.

Prizes: Nothing serious, since this is more of a fun LAN than a serious competition.
