On PC online Multiplayer for DOOM 3 and Resurrection of Evil is 2-8 players.
On PC there is no multiplayer options for Doom and Doom II.
Is there any co-op gameplay included with DOOM 3 BFG Edition?
The co-op gameplay for DOOM 3 was only included with the original Xbox release of DOOM 3. As BFG Edition is based upon the original PC release, there is no online/offline cooperative play. The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of DOOM and DOOM II feature online and splitscreen co-op supporting 2-4 players.

The upcoming Oculus Rift headset will be compatible with the PC release of DOOM 3 BFG Edition. Unfortunately, we’re not able to support this functionality on consoles.

Personally i think it would be nice to have a Classic Doom Multiplayer in the bfg pc version, because Doom on pc started the whole deathmatch idea. But this would be a lot of extended work, like new netcode, selection on game modis, multiplayer maps, new multiplayer port, matchmaking feature, mutiplayer updates etc.
Right now PC Classic Doom has already three good multiplayer clients to play deathmatch and coop:
ZDaemon,
Zandronum (follower of Skulltag) and
Odamex. So there is no important need for another one.
Also there is a
new word about changes in the Doom 3 HD Remake.
