For all those Quake hungry players around, I would like to remind that there are ongoing sign-ups for Kuh3liga Summer 2012. This season will feature TDM, CTF and CA. But unless enough teams will register themselves, the league in particular gametype will be canceled. We're closing sign-ups on Friday 15th of June. Required number of teams for TDM is 16 and for both CTF and CA, it's 10.

Poland AGRESS0R created second movie "Short Montage"

Work on the movie began in September 2011. Getting project to the final version took a long time .There was always that didnt fit, so I made such changes / modifications. It took me a lot of time and space. Some pepople thought I abandoned the project ..... Now,'' Short Montage 2' is longer than the first part of . Moments that I used came from modes as Capture The Flag / Clan Arena / Duel. My main objective of making videos of Quake Live is to show the exciting moments of the game in good quality / smoothness . If your configuration allows it I urge you to watch the 1680 x 824 - 60 frames version - because of better quality, and smooth movements ! You Tube is a last resort !

Hello I am United States of America klaovhwN, and since my Internet is jacked at the moment I decided to run a small Duel tournament in NA, and possibly more if this goes alright. Also big thanks to United States of America CSN|steve for hooking me up with the admin rights to run this on the CSN site.

So we have some pretty good names coming into STFU AND DUEL some you may not know some you might but here are the notable names: Chord, Clast, Harley_QUINN, mavLP, undertaker12, nuttybro, spucrl, stWolf, 1057(Lost-Cause), walter and wonko himself. I'm sure there is a few names in there I didn't mention but these are notably people that seem to have done well in the past, Clast for instance was a really good q3 dueler so glad to see him back, we'll see how he does with the new maps.

After 2 years of inactivity we managed to reopen the Italian ESL Quake Live section!

In order to celebrate this event, we're organizing a Duel Cup and a 2v2 Clan Arena Cup for all Italian Quakers.

Registrations are opened until 13:00 CDT, 17 June 2012. Prizes will be ESL premium/QL pro accounts.

Cups will take place in the whole succeeding week, so prepare your ammo and get ready to frag!

The French team Millenium has announced their lineup for Shootmania.

A legendary Quake trio will be representing French organization Millenium. Kevin “Strenx” Baeza has been playing ShootMania for some time now and has been trying to push the game forward, to help it become one of the main titles in esports. He has now teamed up with two other legendary Quake names to create an all-star team.

The Frenchman will be joined by Alexey “Cypher” Yanushevsky and Maciej “Av3k” Krzykowski. The two Eastern European players represented Serious Gaming and gaming peripheral manufacturer Razer for some time in Quake Live, but will now represent Millenium in ShootMania.

They won’t be attending the SOPA Lan together yet, as Cypher and Av3k will both be at DreamHack Summer for the Quake Live competition. Strenx will be attending but with a mix-team, together with Saint-Cyprien and cr1pton. However, the team will be going to Cybsum, as they have been one of four teams to be invited so far.

To round it up, these are the three players who will represent Millenium in ShootMania:

Cybsum announce four teams (36 comments)

The Cyberathlete Summit will featuring six of the best teams from around the globe. Four of those teams have been announced.

On 23 and 24 June Cybsum will take place in Paris, France and give away 8 100€ in prizes. A total of six teams will be invited to the tourney. Three international teams and three French teams. One will be decided this evening via the TwitchTV E3 Tournament, where YouTube Money will play Mercenary Ops in the grand final (coverage here).

Today, however, four teams have already been announced. Millenium already announced their new team featuring Strenx, Cypher and Av3k and they have of course been invited to attend. The other teams are 3 Old Men and colwn, featuring Quake legends and LDLC, with Counter-Strike players.

We received a lot of complains from the newer and not so experienced players in Quake Live during our last few cups, so we'll organize another Duel Cup but this time for players only below 1400 dueling Elo points! (referring to QLRanks). The first edition takes place on European servers. You can already sign up, and make sure to have a stay on IRC at #infectedGaming while the cups proceeds. Of course you can participate at the regular duel cup to get a higher challenge, but if you lose in the first rounds you can try out this one and maybe you'll win! So even if you have above 1400 ELO points but you lose in the first round of the infected Duel Cup, you'll get a seat in this cup. Have fun & enjoy your time!


Visit the cup page for extended rules and registration information. All seats are taken. You will have the chance to sign up in the last 30 minutes, if a attender doesn't appear.

Last Saturday we decided to use a double-bracket since we only received 16 sign-ups. And 3 polish totally dominated this cup! Poland penicylina was beaten by Poland PYTON and reached the third place. But Poland PYTON wasn't able to defeat Poland LeSzNy, who made his direct way over the winner bracket to the finals. The sixth edition takes place on European servers and all players of all skill levels are welcome! You can already sign up, and make sure to have a stay on IRC at #infectedGaming while the cups proceeds. Again you need to help us: Last time you voted for 2 additional maps for the mappool. But T4 and Hektik reached the same amount of votes. Now it's again by you, which map will be played in the future. Here you can find the poll. If you lose, don't worry! There will be a Beginners Cup at Sunday!
