After this action packed Quake weekend, The GD Studio is back with even more. This time around we will feature the first episode of our Learn 2 Play series, powered by QPAD. This is a biweekly show where our host and guests will try to guide the viewer from the very basics of a game to the higher elements of it, over several episodes. The games covered in the L2P series are Quakelive, Starcraft 2, Dota 2 and Bloodline Champions with each one of them being featured once a week.

The show is scheduled to start around 20:00 CEST and your hosts for the evening will be United Kingdom James "2GD" Harding and Sweden Pelle "fazz" Soderman.

Following the success of my previous game analyses (Russia Cooller vs Belarus Cypher and Austria Noctis vs United States of America Rapha) I have made yet another episode with slightly different content this time (and a new mic!). It is aimed at players who are interested in improving their game or simply like to hear some thoughts about Quake. Criticism is encouraged as usual.

Joe Goss from Tritin Films presents a new small trailer for the discontinued Arenas Episodes. We see Q3 Sarge in FFA Action. The second season of the Arenas was put on ice because, unfortunately, the funding attempt over at Kickstarter failed (it needed 8.000 dollars to succeed). Consequently, this could be the last Arenas snippet for a while. Joe might continue working on the series if he finds time and is able to gather the funding money.

Though, for now he is working on a new animated film project called "Spawnlings".

The long awaited Quake 3 movie that I promoted during DreamHack Winter 2011 is finally here.

This movie has been delayed due my studies etc, but finally I managed to finish it. Honestly it only took 9+4 days to make. 4 days for the intro which was already made, and 9 days for all the other parts. I recaptured everything that I presented at DHW too, because the in-game effects were different in Q3 and QL. Thanks to United States of America brugal; he managed to put Quake3 support into his awesome tool, WolfcamQL.

Well...enjoy the movie, and if it get really high points overall (9+) I might do a sequel sometime ;)


Oh and....HAPPY BIRTHDAY RENK!!! Also, a new short for Quake Arenas is out (youtube).

I wrote some scripts to automatically stream games from Quakeworld QTV and to allow viewers to vote on which game to spectate.

Let me know what you think, improvements/comments/suggestions, and tell me if I'm just crazy :) I currently do not have a dedicated streaming machine yet, its just an old laptop that's doing it, so... might not actually be on 24/7
