Since Teambot seems gone for good I coded a substitude. For everyone who doesnt know what teambot was, Matchbot is - its an IRC bot that handels requests for PCW's, hosted by SWAT. Once u created a request, u can list all open requests and challenge other clans. Matchbot will post the new request in every channel its in.
So, you might ask yourself, how do I get it ?
Easy! U need to be operator in your channel and type /invite Matchbot #yourchannelnamehere . Type !addrequest to add a request, Matchbot will ask u some questions to define your match e.g gametype skill level, etc.
Whats new in Matchbot ?
- the survay is more unified, means u must name your devision (skill) and so on, that way u get a better overview
- requests expire after 1h unless u use !renew to refresh. In teambot there where alot dead-requests
What else?
U need either 2 ops or 10 users to invite Matchbot.
Atm we dont have a trusted IP so matchbot can idle in about 60 chans. So if Matchbot wont join your channel let me know, your'll find me in #awe-clan or #matchbot
IMPORTANT !
This is still BETA! So Matchbot may leaves your channel, just try to reinvite him from time to time then...Usualy the downtime will be very short. If your find bugs let me know.
