Finding the best CSGO gambling sites in 2019 is not that easy. CSGO gambling has had a chequered past to say the least, with many sites being shut down and penalised because of illegal activity.

There is clearly a demand among some Counter-Strike lovers to bet on their favourite game but for the sector to be sustainable long-term, CSGO gambling sites must comply with the laws - primarily for the safety and security of esports fans but also for the sake of themselves.

While we both agree that the matches were indeed boring, I think it's for different reasons. What you see as "bunnyjumping and being aggressive CPM style" I see as mindless jumping around. Don't get me wrong, HAL is among the best if not the best speed-wise, yet his decision-making in this game was non-existent due to the prize factor mentioned above. He probably just wanted to have fun as usual, hopping around and adding some heads to his frag collection, nothing wrong with that. However, if you had something to actually gain by winning, then I'm sure we would see a proper duel with some tactics and metagaming.

Quake is Dead - Dueling and 4on4 mixes (29 comments)
Posted by !phil @ 14:24 CDT, 21 August 2011 - iMsg
Listen in as I talk to Denmark ]SR[ParadokS, Norway Rikoll and Denmark EMbAh about quake dueling, 4on4 mixes, and some upcoming tournaments. There's even a comic strip somewhere in there :)

Rikoll is a relative new-comer who has been tearing through the duel tournaments (1st @ QHLan 13, 2nd at QHLan 14, 1st at Showdown 1 and 2!) and is also a fine 4on4 player.

EMbAh has been around a bit longer, and also plays quakelive as well.

Update: I had the wrong link, now fixed! Fast forward to 3:00 when the show really starts.

QuakeCon 2011 After Action Blog (48 comments)
Posted by GreasedScotsman @ 16:03 CDT, 19 August 2011 - iMsg
Hey folks. United States of America GreasedScotsman here. After the successful planning, management and production of QuakeCon 2011 coverage, I've decided to take a break from broadcasting for the next month or so, perhaps longer, though I may reappear for special events like 2GD's World Tour (described during OneMoreGame/LiveOnThree 08-03-11).

QuakeCon 2011 was an amazing adventure. Thirteen people were responsible for the production and coverage. After last year's clusterfuck where we stepped up to the plate after expecting to play a secondary role to LiveOnThree, lacking equipment and time to plan anything, we knew we had much to prove.

We made a conscious decision to not hype up what we had planned and we chose to not go as "QLTV" but as the "QuakeCon Coverage crew." In hindsight, I know a lot of people literally missed the live stream because of this lack of press. Thankfully, though, we have 720p VODs available on YouTube of all of our content.

Three days before the close down of applying as a Team Captain for your country, we want to inform you about the current standings.

So far we have captains for 20 different countries, and still some major countries are missing... applying as a team captain is still possible until Sunday!

For 4 countries we had more than one captain applying, it is up to each country now to vote for their captain! Voting for a country you are not part of is useless since those votes will be filtered out! Voting is possible till Sunday. (Check out the original announcement).

ASTZ! @ Dare 2011 - Tournament Complete! (23 comments)
Posted by astz! @ 16:51 CDT, 17 August 2011 - iMsg
After an intense weekend of competition the UT2004 tournament at Dare ProtoPlay 2011 has come to an end. It was interesting for me to on be on the organizational side of a UT2004 LAN event for a change and I have to say it's quite a challenge. However, I am very happy with the way it all turned out. I got to see some amazing matches, meet some of the nicest guys in the gaming community and generally have a great experience - although exhausting.

Check out the ASTZ! @ Dare 2011 Image Gallery for an idea of how it all looked.

Tournament wise, we saw some fantastic matches with the two Dutch players dominating (as expected). The biggest surprise for most people was the amazing comeback to form from ecko! who came out of a 2 year absence to a striking performance in the tournament, even taking a map from our eventual winner. zelVz also impressed me, with a fantastic hitscan and strong performance throughout, only falling short to the more experienced players in his first ever international LAN. A disappointed Kenchu and lo2dk also fell short of the very top spots, although they both showed a lot of promise and determination.

In the end it was always going to be between ScrMz! and Frantic and they didn't disappoint. All the scores from the 1on1 tournament are now available. There are interviews with some of the players as well. They talk about how they found the experience, what's next for them and how satisfied they feel with their performances.
