Finding the best CSGO gambling sites in 2019 is not that easy. CSGO gambling has had a chequered past to say the least, with many sites being shut down and penalised because of illegal activity.

There is clearly a demand among some Counter-Strike lovers to bet on their favourite game but for the sector to be sustainable long-term, CSGO gambling sites must comply with the laws - primarily for the safety and security of esports fans but also for the sake of themselves.

ASTZ! @ Dare 2011 - Tournament Complete! (23 comments)
Posted by astz! @ 16:51 CDT, 17 August 2011 - iMsg
After an intense weekend of competition the UT2004 tournament at Dare ProtoPlay 2011 has come to an end. It was interesting for me to on be on the organizational side of a UT2004 LAN event for a change and I have to say it's quite a challenge. However, I am very happy with the way it all turned out. I got to see some amazing matches, meet some of the nicest guys in the gaming community and generally have a great experience - although exhausting.

Check out the ASTZ! @ Dare 2011 Image Gallery for an idea of how it all looked.

Tournament wise, we saw some fantastic matches with the two Dutch players dominating (as expected). The biggest surprise for most people was the amazing comeback to form from ecko! who came out of a 2 year absence to a striking performance in the tournament, even taking a map from our eventual winner. zelVz also impressed me, with a fantastic hitscan and strong performance throughout, only falling short to the more experienced players in his first ever international LAN. A disappointed Kenchu and lo2dk also fell short of the very top spots, although they both showed a lot of promise and determination.

In the end it was always going to be between ScrMz! and Frantic and they didn't disappoint. All the scores from the 1on1 tournament are now available. There are interviews with some of the players as well. They talk about how they found the experience, what's next for them and how satisfied they feel with their performances.

SK Gaming's 1on1 series continues its discussion with Poland Maciej "av3k" Krzykowski, as the three time DreamHack champion discusses the elite four of QuakeLive (United States of America rapha, Belarus Cypher, Russia Cooller and himself)

What changed in Cypher to make him a great player in Q3? What made rapha's style so difficult to overcome earlier in QL? Can Cooller become the best player again? Does Cooller matchup better against rapha or Cypher? What is av3k's plan to become a champion again?

The interview can be watched at SK Gaming.

The results of the vote for the Gametype featured during the Country Championship 2011 are now known, and TDM won over CTF with 65% of the votes!

We hope this announcement will bring more captain applications, because we only have 8 countries represented so far and 24 more potential countries! Do not hesitate to apply, we rather have an unknown captain, than no captain!

WinFakt interviews spart1e (9 comments)
Posted by gribouts @ 15:53 CDT, 15 August 2011 - iMsg
Given his recent great performance at QuakeCon 2011, WinFakt wanted to take some time with Sweden Sebastian "Spart1e" Siira for an interview. He gives some insight about how the tournament was from a player's point of view, discusses about his performance in duel and TDM, as well as a bit about his future in online gaming.

Here is an excerpt:
Before we talk some more about your performance in TDM, I'd like us to go back to this match versus CZM. Did you expect him to be such in a good shape for this event ?
No, I really did not. It was a tough tournament. I think some players really underperformed, and few played better than expected. I didn´t see rest of czms games. But against me he made some nice moves, which worked several times because I made really bad mistakes over and over again.

Valve announces CS:GO (231 comments)
Posted by T1E @ 14:11 CDT, 12 August 2011 - iMsg
Valve is working on the latest iteration of Counter-Strike!

Over the weekend many CS:Source players were invited to the Valve headquarters. Apparently the new CS: Global Operations will replace CS:S's spot!

The gameplay will be closer to CS:S than anything. Some maps the testers have seen include well known dust, aztec, inferno, nuke and train.

Update: Valve officially announced Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
