A few of you may recognise

Peter "Ventz" Kidson's name pop-up a few times in many of my Australian tournament posts. Consistently finishing within the top three in nearly every Quake Live tournament 4Seasons has ran to date, Ventz has finally got his chance in the big leagues.

Last year Ventz came runner up in the Archaic.MSI Draft which saw his clan mate

dandaking take the spotlight at Quakecon`10. Undoubtedly increasing dan's skill level and experience as a player Ventz is hoping to get the same sort of accomplishments from the American competition. Thanks to MindFreak.Razer, Ventz and his manager will be attending the Intel® QUAKE LIVE Duel Invitational Masters tournament in August.

Hey guys,
Due to the lack of interest, HoQ have announced that they we will not be running the duel league any longer. THOUGH, we just launched another weekly KoTH tournament that is held every Wednesday. The winners of each KoTH tournament will receive an invite for the final KoTM (King of the Mountain)cup where they can challenge for some nice prizes.

The idea behind the tournament is to give newer players the chance to see the different skill levels in duel and hopefully help them learn and improve, also helps them get in to the community "Which is what I'm all about".

KoTM Prizes
- KoTM 1st place: A brand new razer mouse
- KoTM 2nd place: Money to buy a QuakeLive pro account (paypal required, from williebobc)
- KoTM 3rd place: Money to buy a QuakeLive premium account
Procedure/Info (KoTH)

- You sign up
- You get seeded
- you play your game after the seed lower than you
- format is winner stays on
- challenger picks the map
- Bo3 is played in the final
- Winner declared
- free map pool (for KoTH)
- there will be a ranking system which will seed you to roughly prevent players of uneven skill levels to face each other in the early stage of the tournament

How To Sign Up?[/B]
Just pop down to #KoTH.eu (QuakeNet) on Wednesday evenings (7PM GMT+1 | 8PM CET) and ask xLink or williebobc to sign you up for the tournament.

It is with extreme pleasure we can officially announce our first involvement in QuakeCon 2011,

Johan "tox" Quick. The Swedish Quake legend has shown great recent form and interest to pickup some Quake Live duel titles and here at 4Seasons Gaming we are more than happy to be of assistance to his determination. Johan will be participating in the QuakeCon 2011 duel competition, under the 4Seasons Gaming banner, and regardless of his finishing rank at the end of the tournament our investment has already been satisfied for our enjoyment to see him competing again in a major LAN duel tournament.

Partnered Sponsorship is still available for tox as we bring his profile page live before QuakeCon. As this is our first financed player we have no interest in any future or current funding requests from other players for the time being.

The QuakeCon staff finally released the list of the invitations for the Intel® QUAKE LIVE Duel Invitational Masters tournament to be played at QuakeCon 2011. The number of invitations was increased from 16 players to 24 players.

After the successful two TDM cups and this week's CTF cup, we want to provide you more action next week with CTF on Monday and TDM on Wednesday. Both cups will have slightly different rules from the previous editions.

The CTF map list will consist of Finnegan's, Shining Forces and Stonekeep; and Iron Works / Japanese Castle as extra maps for deciders. In TDM the maps will be forced for each round!
