Finding the best CSGO gambling sites in 2019 is not that easy. CSGO gambling has had a chequered past to say the least, with many sites being shut down and penalised because of illegal activity.

There is clearly a demand among some Counter-Strike lovers to bet on their favourite game but for the sector to be sustainable long-term, CSGO gambling sites must comply with the laws - primarily for the safety and security of esports fans but also for the sake of themselves.

Quake Live Commentary (68 comments)
Posted by !phil @ 12:07 CDT, 29 June 2011 - iMsg
I wish to advertise my live video commentary page for quakeworld. It is different from most other commentary you may have seen because I am doing the commentary at the same time as I'm playing the game.

The intent is to show newbies (and/or players that are new to FPS) the thought process that goes on while someone is playing the game.

I'm still working on some technical aspects of capturing (using fraps locks me down to 120FPS, but perhaps I can use vdub with some tweaks to get unlocked FPS capturing) but I already have 30+ episodes ready, and I have gotten positive feedback, but I haven't been able to get too many views so I'm hoping to get some word out - so spread the word :) Even quakelive players and other players outside quakeworld have told me they learned something from these videos, so I hope you can too, and improve yourself in FPS :D

(I got this idea from kingscrusher chess live commentary, very entertaining; and then after I started I learned that some people do live commentary in SC2 also - psy, day9 I think, etc)

Posted by ins @ 08:12 CDT, 29 June 2011 - iMsg
"Blizzard Entertainment's massively multiplayer online role-playing game World of Warcraft has not adopted a free-to-play model like high-profile games Lord of the Rings Online, EverQuest II, Team Fortress 2, and others. However, Blizzard has extended WOW's try-before-you-buy experience today, making the game free to play until level 20."

s0Ng launches a new QL site ! (8 comments)
Posted by sonkje @ 17:55 CDT, 28 June 2011 - iMsg
The idea of this site is to organize as much information as possible related to quakelive's scene ( demos, configurations, articles), so as to help both starters and advanced players grow up in a competitive aspect. The site is focused mainly on duel, but will feature some TDM sections in a near future.

For any feedback please just contact me at gonzal064@hotmail.com ;)

Stealing virtual items is a crime (128 comments)
Posted by Ins0mnia @ 15:34 CDT, 28 June 2011 - iMsg
Stealing virtual items in games such as World of WarCraft, TeamFortress 2, Runescape etc. etc. etc... is now a crime in the Netherlands, this has been stated by the judge in the Supreme Court. In 2008, a 13-year-old boy was threatened with physical violence with a knife from one of his friends unless he handed over some items in RuneScape. The Supreme Court stated that virtual items are of an economical value, so it's a crime when you steal it.

The suspect has been issued a 160 hour forced labor penality with a 4 month conditional juvenile detention. The accused appealed, how ever a year later the Supreme Court stated the same verdict.

You've had to wait long but the time has finally come. Germany satan_inside has spent countless nights in his dark basement working on epic special effects whilst Germany RedSilias has spent his time watching and editing the tons of demos you guys provided. In the end the video has a total runtime of 9 minutes and 11 seconds but it took the guys more than 200 working hours to include all the fantastic frags of 23 different quakers. Hence, we are proud to present the first ever derQuaker Fragmovie featuring sick frags out of all major gametypes.

You'll see amazing air rockets, impressive rail shots and incredible power-up runs throughout this epic video. Are you included in this historic masterpiece? Did you make it? See for yourself! But if your frags didn't make it then don't worry but keep collecting your demos as the next project awaits you already.

Arenas - The Series - New Site Launch (No comments)

I am pleased to announce the launch of the new Official Arena's website which houses all of the custom content, images, and behind the scenes material from the show as well as large format viewing directly off the website. The site is being updated and changed on a weekly basis, so check the site often to see whats new and be the first in your group to claim the newest Arenas content for yourself.

Never heard of Arenas?
Arenas is a Youtube based fan show / movie unlike anything on the internet today. The show features completely custom models and story line based around the Id franchise game 'Quake'. Our series has caught thousands of fans to-date and we continue to grow on a daily basis. The graphics used in our shows has even been mistaken as cinematic action scenes from the speculated Doom 4. The story starts centered on the moon 'Phobos', where Doom is stationed before the teleporter malfunction ensues. Hell then connects, attacks, and takes over Phobos and Mars. Our beloved Doom battles his way through Phobos, then hell, and blacks out after destroying the Cyberdemon itself; but not until after the powers of the Soulcube have blended with Doom's body. From here, we follow Doom's abduction by the Vadrigar, his rise in the arenas as he does combat with various characters pulled from id Software's Quake 1, Quake 2, and Quake III Arena's universes..

Back in April, we released our full length feature fan film comprised of the first season of Arenas episodes. The movie is the first and only fan film of its kind on the internet today. Tritin Films director Joe Goss brings Arenas together into a 70 minute feature from beginning to end, featuring deleted scenes never released in 2009-2010 during it's bi-monthly episodic release format. The space marine we know as Doom is abducted by the Vadrigar, and forced to battle his way through their Arena fortress. Featuring the music of Mystic Realmz' Sonny James, and the leading character voice of Jack Pattillo as Doom, Arenas is a HELL of a ride. This is the first time in history a fan film has been completed to this level.

So what are you waiting for? Go see it for yourself. And please feel free to post your comments and thoughts about the episodes and or the show itself on our youtube channel.

Sc00t about Prizes in QL Tournaments (50 comments)
Posted by avec @ 12:30 CDT, 27 June 2011 - iMsg
LowLandLions player Netherlands Sc00t has posted his second column on PlayQuake.

This time the subject concerns the payout of prizes in Quake Live. Do the players get what they are owed, who pays up and who doesn't. Here is an excerpt:
Many people heard stories about the CPL not paying out their prizes of the World Tour. It happens more often than I think the spectators do know of, so this article will be about prizes that I have won and how long passed until I received the prize.

Check out of the full column at PlayQuake.com.

Re: ESWC and IEM drop Quakelive (No comments)
Posted by aRidion @ 10:21 CDT, 27 June 2011 - iMsg
although it surely is sad to see this development....it is not completly surprising.

When Dreamhack was streaming different games at the same time, other games had more spectators.

While this is not the only indicator of course, I think (fear) that many games will have a larger playerbase.

The quake scene is basically the same for a decade with some top players leaving and some newer ones taking those spots, but there is nothing to see that couldnt be seen in 2004 aswell...

From a business point of view and, lats face it, thats what those companies are about after all, it makes totally sense to take some younger and (at the moment) popular games....
