As already announced in the EuroCup Invite Radio Show, qualifiers and invitees are already known. For those who didn't listen the radio show here is the reminder and what can we expect in the upcoming weeks regarding EuroCup QL TDM .

All teams in qualifiers are expected to arrange matches with their opponents by Tuesday, 29.03.2011 as matches start immediately after that. Check schedule for more info.

Update: Qualifiers for EuroCup XXIII are finished, so expect groups to be released Friday 15:00 CDT, 8 April 2011. First matchweek will start Monday 11 April 2011.

Thanks to his team ArchaicMSI, Dan will be featuring once again in the American QuakeCon tournament also rumored to make the trip with another companion from the Australian scene. European Quake League 13 - Playoffs (No comments)

The season is at the point where the 4on4 QuakeWorld scene has reached the playoffs. Only 22 teams left playing their last games of the season before the summer break! The season has been very tight and did lead to some last minute drama as usually.

There has also been introduced a new scheduling system considering top division playoffs, so we (admins) should be able to post about upcoming games nicely a day or two before the games on esreality!

Anima Gaming Spring Series: Powered by CSN will continue the series with the next Duel event. Last week,

ZeRo4 took 1st-place and the Raptor-Gaming headset and mouse by beating

ziel in the finals, who took 2nd-place. Who will win this week? Tune in on Tuesday to find out!

Wednesday will feature the third chapter of the 2v2 TDM events. 8 teams maximum may participate in this event, and anyone is welcome to join!

JeeSports opens a Quakelive 1v1 ladder with prize money. Each month the top 8 players and 8 most active players of ladder and are qualified for an invitation tournament with a total cash prize of 150€.

The next invitation tourney will be on May 1st. The first season will be played from April to June 2011.

The fourth day of the Ultimate Gaming Championship will take place on Sunday with the last playoff matches. WB Final will start at 04:00 CDT and will be followed by the LB Final. As for the Grand Final, it should be played in the afternoon, between 07:00 CDT and 09:00 CDT.

Is this the future?Miguel says in the interview with John Stewart that people who are paralyzed from the neck down, will be able to operate their hydraulic suit with just thinking/brainwaves.Supposedly this suit will be available for purchase in 2-3 years time.

Miguel Angelo Laporta Nicolelis, MD, PhD, is a Brazilian physician and scientist, best known for his pioneering work in "reading monkey thought". He and his colleagues implanted electrode arrays into a monkey's brain that were able to detect the monkey's motor intent and thus able to control reaching and grasping movements performed by a robotic arm. This was possible by decoding signals of hundreds of neurons recorded in volitional areas of the cerebral cortex while the monkey played with a hand-held joystick to move a shape in a video game. These signals were sent to the robot arm, which then mimicked the monkey's movements and thus controlled the game. After a while the monkey realised that thinking about moving the shape was enough and it no longer needed to move the joystick. So it let go of the joystick and controlled the game purely through thought. A system in which brain signals directly control an artificial actuator is commonly referred to as brain-machine interface or brain-computer interface.

The Tournament rules regarding Quake Live at Dreamhack Summer 2011 have now been announced. This includes both the classic duel tournament and the new TDM tournament.

There's still some gaps to be filled though, Prize pool is being one of the last major factors. To kill all the rumors, there will be a cash prize pool so don't worry. It will be official as soon as it's decided.
