The 63rd SteelSeries Go4SC2 Cup hosted by ESL ESL takes place this Sunday. Up to 1024 players will battle it out for 200 Euros and ranking points to qualify for the 500 Euros monthly final. As usual it will be single elimination, best of 1 fixed maps until the quarter finals, then best of three.

It's final time in the European Quake League, the Division 1 final stands between two of the most legendary clans in QuakeWorld history.

Europe Slackers vs Finland the Viper Squad - Saturday, 12:00 CDT

Slackers is without a doubt the most successful team ever, having won 2 Smackdown titles, 4 NQR titles, 3 EQL titles and just recently claiming their 3rd QHLAN title.

the Viper Squad has been the dominating team for the past 3 years, winning 4 EQL titles in a row without losing a single match.

For this match however, the Viper Squad is looking to take back their throne as kings of QuakeWorld 4on4, as their 2 recent encounters with Slackers has not been going their way. Slackers won the QHLAN 14 final last month, and took home a second victory over the Viper Squad, during their EQL group game just a week later.


Commentators for the match will be United States of America Jehar & United Kingdom ddk

Level Up TV would today, a week after the conclusion of the Quake Live tournaments at DreamHack Winter, like to conclude our own personal on-site coverage of the event by releasing the secondary content we promised in our initial press release.

As an organisation, we were well aware of the difficulties that we could potentially meet head on when initially taking on the huge task of covering live events on-site, we wanted to make efforts to ensure that we provided the best possible service to our viewers with the limited resources that we had at our disposal. Taking all of this into consideration we are today able to release our "Level Up TV at DreamHack" video presentation.

The 71 minute footage was recorded during the 3 days of the Quake Live tournaments and it varies in content from interviews, event area walkthroughs, the ramblings of the players and of course, a brief chat with mr. Day9 himself!

The main purpose of it, was to try and share with the viewers our first time experience at DreamHack, showcasing some of that atmosphere that both Quake Live and DreamHack is so famous for.

Once again we hope you have all enjoyed our coverage for this event and we would like to thank all of our donors, viewers and supporters.

See you in 2011!

After a successful performance of their two Unreal 3 players, Gamelimited decided to go another way, as they will be more focusing on Quake Live. Two players have been added to strengthen their dueling squad. Both Lithuania Viaceslavas 'fire_bot' Duk and Sweden Fredrik 'assign' Junttila are now in the team. Lithuania Fire_bot and Sweden Assign are considered to be quality and up-and-coming players in Quake Live. Netherlands Wieke 'LanDi' Loman will be the new team captain of the squad.

ZOTAC QL Duel Cup #61 (128 comments)

The 61st ZOTAC QL Duel Cup will be played this Sunday. As usual it will consist of SE brackets using the bo1 format until the quarter finals. Then the games will be played as bo3 with the exception of the Final being played as bo5. The prize still is 100€ for 1st place!

Hopefully, Quakelive won't crash again!
