Two Week Cash Cup (No comments)

FraggedNation.com is pleased to announce the first of hopefully many new special events. The first of these events will be a North America two week duel cup.

The event layout will be a cash ELO ladder that runs two weeks beginning as soon as the minimum eight players have signed up. Sign ups will remain open following the event start date, but later participants will be at a slight disadvantage due to matches already played.

There will be a five credit (1 credit = $1 USD) buy-in required for participants.

ESH continues with organizing top level Quake Live tournaments, this time with 4v4 TDM in mind. Cup is called Kingston HyperX Battle: Quake Live and signups are already open. Prize for the winner is £250!

Cup will be played in Double Elimination, Bo3 format and will be ran for 2 days. Scheduled days are Sunday 13:00 CDT, 12 September 2010 and Sunday 13:00 CDT, 19 September 2010. Complete schedule can be found below.

The 50th ZOTAC QL Duel Cup will be played this Sunday. The cup format still consists of SE brackets using bo1 until the quarter finals. Then the semi-finals will be played as bo3, and the final as bo5.

For this 50th edition, ZOTAC decided to offer a special price to the winner instead of the usual 100€. This time, the top dueler will be rewarded with a ZOTAC GeForce GTX 465 graphics card!

After 4 busy weeks of qualifiers, the playoffs of the ESH Sapphire Euro Challenge will finally start this Saturday at 07:00 CDT. The 16 best duelists from the past few cups will fight to finish in the top3 and a chance to win a bite of the £500. The cup format will consist of a Double Elimination Brackets, while matches will be played as bo3 and bo5 for the Grand Final.

Seeding will be done based on the success of the qualifiers, where guys who won first spot will be top seeded, second spot mid seeded and 3rd spot will be low seeded players. Qualified players and their rankings can be seen below.

Q2scene is proud to announce another European Duel League season. The tournament will be played in best of five over single elimination. EDL will be lead again by head admin

As some of you noticed already, the sign-ups for EDL #9 are opened! Layout for this season is going to be very similar to the one from last season (elimination stage, group stage, single elimination playoffs), although it might change depending on the number of signed players. Before signing up beware that rules are not yet final. There might be some changes, but you will be notified before the sign-ups are closed which will be on 30th of September.
