The 5th Cup of the

Go4SC2 Series will take place today starting at 07:00 CDT and will feature 100€ for its winner. Rankings points will also be given to the top16 players in order to get qualified for the Go4SC2 Final April 2010 on the Thursday 29th. The sign up for the cup will be open until 06:40 CDT and then the check-ins will begin.

The news will be updated with stream infos where known!

DreamHack Summer 2010 QUAKE LIVE Format (35 comments)

After last year's successful tournament, the DreamHack staff is happy to announce the format for Quakelive at DreamHack Summer 2010, held at

Jönköping on June 19-22th. The total prize purse for Quake Live at DreamHack Summer 2010 will be 50 000SEK ($6,620).

The defending champion,

srs/rzr/av3k, has already been invited to the tournament.

fazz qualified last weekend when he won the qualifier at The Gathering 2010. The tournament will have a total of 16 spots. 7 more slots will be filled direct invitations and 4 more players will qualify in an international qualifier, which is yet to be announced. The last 3 spots will go to the top3 of a BYOC Qualifier at Dreamhack Summer 2010.

Players who want to receive an invite must sign up before 05:00 CDT, 15 May 2010 on the tournament website.

Silent Gamers Qualifier Cup April 10th (No comments)

This Saturday April 10th Silent Gamers will be holding the Qualifying round for its invite Duel Cup! 32 selected players will play in a qualifying round and 16 will advance to next weekends Duel Cup. The final 16 will be announced following the Qualifying. Players check in at noon EST and begin their matches at 1pm EST, so if you want to watch tune in to www.quake-live.tv/live.php at 1pm!

Today at 14:30 CDT, we are proud to bring you the last highlight of the Winter Trophy 2010: the All-Star-Game. The game will be played best of three, both teams will be able to choose one map out of the map pool, the given 3rd map for the game will be T6.

There's mostly strafe runs here, but I worked in some weapon runs as well, both in vq3 and cpm physics. Much more dynamic editing, and the same goes for the music. I hope you all enjoy this, aaaand here's the links! This movie is in 720p running at 50fps.

A few weeks ago,

noctis and

l1nkje decided to organize a TDM Allstars game with the best European players they could find. Not all the fancy players were able or willing to play, but they still managed to get 6 good ones. This special game will be played tonight and be featured on the Quakelive show on ESL TV. As usual, the whole thing will start around 15:00 CDT and be hosted by 2GD and Joe.

Participating players

The teams should be decided by 2 captains before the game starts.

Scott Valencia and describes why we should not be hopeful about the new CPL at all. Here is a glimpse of what she has to unveil:

« The next obstacle in our plan was to actually get the money to make this purchase. This was “no problem”, Mr. Valencia told us many times. We would make the deal first, then the investment money would pour in.
But how do we convince the owners that we actually have the money NOW when we don't?
All of this led up the the first outright lie that was propagated regarding the purchase of the CPL. There was NEVER a middle-eastern investment group from Abu Dhabi behind the purchase of the CPL. It was 100%, from beginning to end, a complete LIE. »
