Finding the best CSGO gambling sites in 2019 is not that easy. CSGO gambling has had a chequered past to say the least, with many sites being shut down and penalised because of illegal activity.

There is clearly a demand among some Counter-Strike lovers to bet on their favourite game but for the sector to be sustainable long-term, CSGO gambling sites must comply with the laws - primarily for the safety and security of esports fans but also for the sake of themselves.

Bring it Back Safely season III sign-ups (52 comments)
Posted by lundiz @ 15:30 CST, 16 February 2010 - iMsg
We are happy to announce the third season of the BiBS CTF league! And the sign-ups are already open for EU and NA! To play in BiBS, all clans attending have to register at bibsql.com. After the registration, your clan also has to sign-up before playing in BiBS!

In order to get accepted into BiBS, every clan has to have a minimum of four players in the clan’s roster (preferably five to six players). The skill doesn't matter as the teams will be seeded into appropriate divisions. An active IRC channel for each team is required. More about the rules are coming shortly.

Regarding the playings, we are still working to have the finals played in Europe. The finals in North America will not be played.

Also, here are the official rankings from North America:

We're looking forward to seeing all the teams in action, both new and old!

DaHanG: I tend to play 10-15 hours/week (21 comments)

With the Extreme Masters World Finals just around the corner as part of our run-up coverage to the event we had a chance to talk to the American Quake Live superstar; United States of America Tim "DaHanG" Fogarty.

DaHanG qualified for the World Finals in a stunning fashion with the highlight being his defeat of another American juggernaut on the Quake Live scene, rapha. We asked DaHanG about his practice schedule, how the distance he has to travel affects him at European events and how it felt to beat a player like rapha in the qualifiers and plenty more for your reading pleasure.

Top 10 FPS Multiplayer Maps, Really? (257 comments)
Posted by Terbo @ 00:29 CST, 15 February 2010 - iMsg
In the latest addition of gameinformer there is an article, written by Nick Ahrens, on the top 10 first person shooter multiplayer maps. I can live with some of his choices but obviously this writer didn't do his homework. My first issue with this list has to be his 10th choice; Tokay's Tower of Quake 2. If you're going to choose any map from Quake 2 it would obviously be The Edge. The second thing that bothered me about this list is that was the only true deathmatch map chosen, not a single Unreal Tournament map. Third, this writer obviously favored the Battlefield series seeing as there were 3 different maps from the BF series.

Have a look for yourself (picture).

Today is a special Valentine's Day Massacre episode of Live On Three with your hosts United States of America Marcus "djWHEAT" Graham and United States of America Rod "Slasher" Breslau (SirScoots at the olympics). djWHEAT, who worked for both Global Gaming (GGL, formerly the Global Gaming League) and the Championship Gaming Series (CGS), will be having a tell-all exclusive on the rise and fall of both of these large companies.

We want to hear your questions. Send them into Lo3@djWHEAT.tv

Topics from both leagues include:

GGL - Early 'vSports' involvement at the company, buying out and collapse of ClanBase, along with the slow death of AmeriCup and EuroCup, the Hip Hop Gaming League and Professional Baseball Gaming League, the failed Digital Games Chinese Olympics event, and the owed money to both players and former employees

CGS - Draft at Playboy Mansion, the selection of mediocre games across two seasons, the decision to use Counter-Strike: Source and not 1.6, Jonathon "Fatal1ty" Wendel's commentating ability, CEO Andy Reif being replaced, TV vs corporate and online streaming, the failure in the CS production value, and the spending of $40 million in two years

FPS Popularity in Asia (41 comments)
Posted by PURRI @ 07:29 CST, 14 February 2010 - iMsg
With the Intel Extreme Masters making their third stop around the world in Taiwan recently, it seems like this Asian event was not getting anywhere near as much attention from the FPS community as the European and American finals.

Somehow (:D) I found this article about why it could be that FPS games aren't that successful in the largest competitive gaming markets in the world.

Excerpt:
Like the arcades in Japan, PC Baangs were major social places, like bars and clubs are to the western world. It was a mainstream part of youth culture. Even the layout of PC Baangs are social, with a large loveseat attached to two computers so that guys could sit with their girlfriends. Because of the ban on console imports, this allowed PC Baangs to only offer PC games and it just so happened that Starcraft was there. Would it be different had Quake or Counter Strike been available?
