TimCon 10 will take place on the 14th-17th of September 2023. The venue will be the Esports Game Arena located in Netherlands Alphen aan den Rijn. Games featured will be Quake Live, DOOMBRINGER, Quake 3 CPMA, Quake 3 DeFRaG and Midnight Guns. Players may secure their spot on the TimConLAN website.

AR3NA is a 35-minute experimental visual study of over 200 Quake III maps, created by Netherlands Jordy Veenstra (A Pixelated Point of View).

As described by the author:

AR3NA is a experimental visual study about Quake III Arena; its environments and its textures. AR3NA is antimatter. AR3NA is rejection. Of skill and traditional means of gameplay. No power-ups, weapons and/or players are found. It is you, your inner thoughts and the arena, inside a world that is empty, inside a universe that is limitless. The rest is up to you.

cpma The Promode Team are releasing a beta for latest version of CPMA (the mod) and CNQ3 (the engine). The beta for the mod and the client come with a whole host of new features, fixes, and updates, including updated icons, upgraded 3D models, a brand new demo viewer interface that works exclusively with CNQ3, and much more.
  • Note: Players using older versions of CPMA with the new CNQ3 beta client will need to set cl_demoPlayer 0 to load a demo.
