After finishing my first project, I was a bit tired of moviemaking, since it was kinda time consuming (well, mainly cause it was the first one, and had to learn lots of things), so I thought i wont make a new vid in months. But, with time, I thought about making a short personal vid, with my best frags, to be able to clear out my demos directory (^^), and to use them before ut3 arrives. So here it is, with very few effects.

This movie is made in a similar style as the TOBU movie. This basically means a large amount of 1st person mixed up with some 3rd person camera's. All demo's are shown twice, once in cpm and once in vq3 physic, the main reason for this is that these are some of the best demos from the Czech Republic Czech & Slovakia Slovak CZSK2007 cup.

Video from the tourney stage where all five matches between Sweden toxjq" and Sweden fojji took place. The videos are presented in High Definition video and give a different feel of the tourneys than watching them though in-game footage. You'll hear the crowd screaming and yelling at two players. The first round, which they played Quake1 is what is available at the moment.

The second video is High Definition footage of the Quad Damage tournament award ceremony. You'll see toxjq, fojji, and DaHanG go on stage to receive their vanity checks.

John Carmack gives a walk through of how the id Tech 5 engine works & how it will benefit game development.
He also gives a hands on preview of how artists will interact with the MegaTexture to add detail to the game world.

He also mentions that Rage will ship with "id studio", the tools they used to develop Rage.

A High Definition video of John Carmack presenting id Software's next game "Rage" to the crowd gathered at QuakeCon 2007.

The video only lasts about 1:30, but it gives you a nice feel of what type of style the game will have. It starts off with some footage that was first shown at WWDC a few months ago, then progresses to show a FPS shooting scene along with some racing action.

Video of the entire id Software presser and John Carmack's keynote are coming.

Everything started around the April 2007, when creepZ jokingly asked me if I wasn't able to make a movie for him. I couldn't have denied it, obviously. Creepz immediately started uploading tons of demos in the days that followed - which is of course the most boring part of making movies - searching for some interesting frags in the demos. I'd like to thank creepz this way a lot - because he managed to go through almost all the demos by himself. So, he just uploaded demos with the accurate frag positions. That gave me even more time to do all the editing stuff. choosing the frags was a pretty hard issue, because we didn't really want to have any average frags - something that everyone has already seen 1000 times before. On the other hand, I wanted to do the rest (editing, quality, music) as good as possible, and that took me a lot of time. Achieving HD quality itself with a normal bitrate took ages. But I have to say, now when it's all done, I'm pretty satisfied with the outcome - all the unique creepZ's frags are even better to look at. I would also like this movie to be an inspiration for the other moviemakers - and, maybe, help our dying scene to survive a couple more years longer.

I didn't realise the other jump from RA (but I come from the ledge) to top stairway/chards near lower RL had already been done by naymlis, so then I done this jump from the other side & with not as much of a run-up.
(Already did It In game, but It was harder to do than the other, so I had to do this one instead knowing the other jump had already been done)

Special thanks to Jérémie "skRz" Thiam for making It into a little movie for me.

Here it is, my second trick jumping movie. It's been about 6 or 7 months since I released my last movie (Dreaming Illusion) and this time it's something completely different. For this project I wanted to create something new and fresh, but as many of you know that's almost impossible nowadays. The way I made this movie may be extremely annoying for some but I hope there's even someone who finds it fascinating.

The soundtrack consists of trip-hop and chill music from artists The Silk Demise and Blue Foundation. The movie lasts for about 13 minutes and there are two versions available: 720p and 400p. Both with 40fps.

First, a sincere thanks to those who helped realize our project! Your efforts are greatly appreciated; this would not be what it has become without you. Let there be no doubt that the feel of this movie was inclined more toward a showcasing of content than a cinematic experience. You are encouraged to check out the included demos!

This is the essence of pure freestyle trickjumping. It is the result of tens of thousands of attempts, countless hours-long sessions, and over four years of experience in the field. There is no trickery nor confusion here; we do not feel the need to play around with or mislead our viewers. It is with great distress that I come to the realization that the place for pure freestyle is subsiding in favor of methods such as timescale manipulation and the use of complicated macros.

The possibilities are endless with the use of these elements and exploration takes a whole new outlook, but I can't help but feel that the passion being put forth isn't nearly what the purist perspective yields. In this sense, the horizons are being broadened, but the artform itself is consequently suffering. It doesn't help matters that there are those out there who find personal gain in the deception ofm others. Remember that what you see and what you hear is not always the reality of things.- by Wussie

This movie was released some time ago (four months) but its author Poland Conm had some software problems and asked me to add it to ESReality now. Enjoy.

Evil Inside includes frags of Polish Quake 2 Quake 2 players. High speed, nice frags with every single shot synchronized to the music and the "dark side" in the end. Have Fun.
