Finding the best CSGO gambling sites in 2019 is not that easy. CSGO gambling has had a chequered past to say the least, with many sites being shut down and penalised because of illegal activity.

There is clearly a demand among some Counter-Strike lovers to bet on their favourite game but for the sector to be sustainable long-term, CSGO gambling sites must comply with the laws - primarily for the safety and security of esports fans but also for the sake of themselves.

Quakelive maps names & levelshot (110 comments)
Posted by xou @ 02:18 CDT, 8 August 2010 - iMsg
So Quakelive is out of beta, and now the filenames of the maps are made from the actual name of the map instead of an incremental system. This means names such as dm6, t4, ztn or hub won't be of any help when it comes to vote a map on a server.

After 10 years of using the same old names for each map, it's hard to adapt and so I decided to make a listing of the Quakelive maps with their levelshot. That should make things a bit easier. You can find a ZIP file with all the images attached.

Rumour: QuakeCon Maps, Premium Service (651 comments)
Posted by @ 17:06 CDT, 5 August 2010 - iMsg
Update: ZeniMax's Bethesda blog finally published a post confirming all the leaks and rumors about the new Quake Live update.

Ahead of id Software's announced Quake Live update, two forum posts have been made here on ESReality with some of the details. The QuakeCon 2010 Duel and CTF map list has been revealed, along with a screenshot detailing the pricing plans for the upcoming Premium and Pro services.

The QuakeCon 2010 maplist posted by forum user reload10 shows two additions to both the standard duel and CTF tournament map lists, all newly featured Quake Live maps.

Aerowalk has been brought back after popular demand, and Phantazm's Battleforge (Q3) has been recreated and added to the tournament. Campgrounds (dm6) and House of Decay (tourney9) have been removed. For CTF, fan favorite Japanese Castles is coming back, and a new map titled 'Stonekeep' has been listed. Bloodlust (ctf9) and Courtyard Conundrum (ctf10) have been removed.

The newly introduced pro and premium services listed offer additional features for those who would like to pay, including extended match history reports, the ability to start your own clan, an all new freeze tag game mode, and the ability to access Quake Live Premium maps and new content.

The pro service specifically allows users to start and customize their own game servers, while also the ability to invite three friends to play with you on Premium maps.

The pricing options in the screenshot reveal that the Premium service costs €1.99/month ($2.64/month), while Pro will cost €3.99/month ($5.28/month). It is noted in asterisks though that all payment is done on a yearly basis and not monthly, coming to roughly €24/year ($31/year) for Premium, and €48/year ($63/year) for Pro.

An official announcement by id Software regarding these details and more should come within the next 24 hours after Quake Live's maintenance.

CPM is a great mode, I like it. No one play it in China, I had to watch demos and play with the BOT alone. I did this video to express my love of cpm. All the demos from the challenge-tv.com(2004~2010).
Most of them are MVDs = X.
This is my first time for CPM video, enjoy it!

toxjq: there has to be changes (257 comments)
Posted by Liefje @ 14:17 CDT, 3 August 2010 - iMsg
From one Quake player to another, United States of America Evan "Nomadic" Bradshaw has interviewed the one and only Sweden Johan "toxjq" Quick. We saw a glimpse into his Quake Live skill in last weeks ZOTAC cup and now he talks openly about the things you want to know. Here is an excerpt:
nomadic: Would you be opposed to the addition of hub?
toxjq: Yes, even dm6, phrantic, ztn, t4, hub, edge etc. I believe there has to be changes to get some new blood into the competitive scene, and since Quake Live is a new game, they should not use maps that have been played for years and years. There isn't much to explore and it’s hard to come up with a new way of playing each map.

nomadic: Understandable, so in this way you favor t9 to be included in tournament map pools?
toxjq: Yeah so far I would. As long as they make new maps, it is important they are tested thoroughly. But you can’t announce new maps 1 week before an event like QuakeCon, that's really bad of them and unprofessional. There has to be some kind of organization that decides a map pool, and that map pool should be used for all the events of that year. If people wanna change maps, or add maps, it should be announced at least 6 months ahead of the tournament.

neok: an Unmatched TDM career (61 comments)
Posted by Thorin @ 06:39 CDT, 3 August 2010 - iMsg
Quake III TDM star Germany Tobias "neok" Grieser may be the Editor-in-Chief of ESL TV right now but he once ruled the TDM world with clan Germany Unmatched, winning back-to-back ClanBase EuroCups. He talked about his TDM career in a video interview with SK Gaming.

How did neok see Sweden iCE cLIMBERS during the period they were battling against Unmatched? What bizarre map choice helped contribute to his team's loss to ic at CPL London? Which Swedish player does he describe as the best TDM player ever?

What qualities account for Unmatched's success in TDM? Why does he call Germany zyz the best overall German TDM player rather than Germany Stelam or Germany Sl1nger? Why did Unmatched never acquire salaries or move to a bigger organization?

neok explains the reasons behind Unmatched splitting up as Stelam and Sl1nger went off to join SK.de and zyz and he wound up in mTw a few months later. Which TDM players of the ages would he select to go around him in a dream team?

The interview can be viewed at SK Gaming.
