AE0: Chosen by the Vadrigar - Reboot - Doom battles his way out of Phobos, only to be taken prisoner by his own scientists. He is soon to find this is only the beginning of his adventure.
AE1: Doom's Deathmatch Birth - Ripped from the Phoenix, Doom has arrived in a strange world where his only company is a Strogg Cyborg with an attitude. He must learn the new rules of his environment.
AE2: No Backing Down - Sarge has been in the Arenas for over 70 years. He's not likely to be easy on a newb like Doom. This is his Arena, and he plans to show Doom exactly how welcome new gladiators are.
AE3: Warriors of Slipgate Part 1 - Ranger and the un-dead Grunts of Chython went head to head with nail guns and axes. The Vadrigar seemed to think both were worthy of a gladiator position. Grunt with an un-well mind that has left him more animal than man, and Ranger... well we all know our hero.
AE4: Warriors of Slipgate Part 2 - The score is 2-2. It's time for Sudden Death. Grunt is in control but Ranger knows how quickly the tables can turn on Deathmatch XVII.
AE5: DeFrag - Doom is introduced to the Elite Xaero, and undergoes a trial in the Illgah DeFrag Arena.
AE6: Last Stand - Doom finds himself in the gladiator lobby with his first challenger, Visor. They share a story about the unconscious gladiator who revolves in the revival chamber. The story of Sarge.
AE7: Scrimmage - Doom spectates as Xaero practices in Q3JDM8 against Visor.
AE8: The Amulet - Doom tests Ranger's teleport rune during a CA match in Quarantine.

- I, with caution, consider myself number one in North America since I just won the last event. I don't deny rapha may have a better case in this because he won four in a row with deeper fields of talent and that's much harder than what I accomplished. I think honestly we are very close in skill though and a good case can be made for either of us.

-The map should hold at least 8 players (suitable for 8 player FFA or 4v4 TDM/CTF) or 2 players for a 1v1 map
-All maps are judged on the same scale, so a smaller map will be held to same to the same quality standards as larger maps
-Doesn't necessarily have to support a specific gametype or mod, but you are welcome to specify one
-Map must contain sponsor images; images will be sent to the participants shortly after the competition starts
-Map must be previously unreleased or a new design; please no map remakes or edits
-A majority of the map should be indoors; please no maps without walls or a ceiling/roof, i.e. space maps like Q3DM17
-Custom textures are allowed; participants need to make sure all textures are legal to use in this competition
-Maps should be designed for normal all-weapon play
-Each participant is allowed to only submit one map and the .map file should be released with the final .pk3 of the map when submitted to the judges for the final judging (the .map file will *not* be distributed except to judges)

-Will be done by a panel of experienced players who are familiar with that map's chosen audience (ie: a CPM map is judged by CPM players, a CTF map is judged by CTF players, etc)
-Scored on gameplay/design, overall looks, creativity, and layout
-Will occur from December 13th to the 19th; winners will be announced immediately afterwards right here
-Judges are not given details about the author of the map to prevent bias
