Finding the best CSGO gambling sites in 2019 is not that easy. CSGO gambling has had a chequered past to say the least, with many sites being shut down and penalised because of illegal activity.

There is clearly a demand among some Counter-Strike lovers to bet on their favourite game but for the sector to be sustainable long-term, CSGO gambling sites must comply with the laws - primarily for the safety and security of esports fans but also for the sake of themselves.

Calling all Quake moviemakers (75 comments)
Posted by dfb @ 05:00 CST, 5 December 2009 - iMsg
Just a couple of days ago we announced the AMD Phenom II Minimovie contest over at TEK9 where you have the chance to win a new AMD Phenom II processor if you place in the top five.

With a couple of days of registration behind us we already have 50+ entries but sadly enough no Quake moviemakers have entered the contest. That is why we are now calling all Quake moviemakers to show us what they got and produce a minimovie of Quake III, Quake 4 or Quake Live.

I for one am an avid Quake Live fan and would love to see some Quake Live minimovies made, looking back at the previous contest we did we also saw some nice Quake Live movies made such as the movie Zero

Good luck to all those who enter!
Vo0 joins compLexity Gaming (140 comments)

Today compLexity Gaming just announced the addition of a new player in their Quake Live roster in the name of Netherlands Sander "Vo0" Kaasjager. As they truly believe Quake Live will get a big year in 2010, the MVP of the CPL World Tour 2005 would represent a great asset in their team along with United States of America Brian "dkt" Flander.

The famous Dutch FPS player who now lives with his fiancée in Texas, USA, will see his first tournament as a coL player next week in the IEM4 AC Finals. Here is his comment:
After a year long absence from the Quake scene I have decided to return. I moved to the USA to attend university and be with my fiancée, therefore it only makes sense to play for an American organization. compLexity is just the right choice as they are the number one American team right now, and I thank them for giving me an opportunity to play with their team.

TL Interviews Blizzards Dustin Browder (45 comments)
Posted by KekS @ 07:33 CST, 3 December 2009 - iMsg
Canada Kennigit from teamliquid sat down with Blizzards Starcraft II Game Director Dustin Browder, whose voice you might know from the various Starcraft 2 Battle Reports, to discuss the decisions he and the SC2 development team have made and how the community was/is involved in the making of this AAA title.
“We are trying to make this game as complete – like if nobody buys any other product, this game needs to be awesome. Like if Blizzard gets hit by a meteor tomorrow and we all die, at least Starcraft 2 was awesome – that's what it needs to be.”

Head on over to teamliquid and read the full interview there.

Shoutcasting Book released by ReDeYe (76 comments)
Posted by ReDeYe @ 04:50 CST, 3 December 2009 - iMsg
A few days ago, I finally completed a book writing project that had been in the works for over a year. The book is entitled "So you want to be a shoutcaster?" and covers most aspects of commentating on videogames, from setting up at home and casting on audio, right through to the more complicated stuff which happens at lan events.

With the recent activity in the shoutcasting world being a little flat and not many new faces coming through, now seemed to be the perfect time to try and help people do something they may have thought about, but feared to try. Hopefully the mini book can help people get on the right road to getting quality shoutcasting out there from more people. After all, its a very small world.

The book goes through a wide range of things to consider, including advice, suggestions and practical solutions to some problems. It covers many aspects that perhaps are a little more subtle but equally important too.

You can view the book in its entirety on theshoutcaster.co.uk and a full downloadable PDF version should be ready before Christmas.

Wombat vs Lakerman AWESOME old school Q3 (112 comments)
Posted by Streetrunner @ 18:51 CST, 30 November 2009 - iMsg
The AGP Classics Match of the Week goes back to Quake 3 this week. 2000 XS Reality Invitational: Sujoy Roy said at the time that it was "one of the most exciting matches I've ever seen" and he is right. This great oldie takes place in the tournaments loser bracket semi-finals. Being the first mainly international tournament in Quake 3, held in Sweden and being invite only, the tournament had no prize money although most players were paid sponsorship money by Razer following in addition to travel.

Loser Bracket Semi: United States of America Mark "Wombat" Larsen vs Sweden Oskar "LakermaN" Ljungstroem
Maps: Vertical Vengeance (T4) and the Proving Grounds (T2)

And just in case you want a HD Quality version of the Dreamhack FInals without casting, I threw them up below.
