Finding the best CSGO gambling sites in 2019 is not that easy. CSGO gambling has had a chequered past to say the least, with many sites being shut down and penalised because of illegal activity.

There is clearly a demand among some Counter-Strike lovers to bet on their favourite game but for the sector to be sustainable long-term, CSGO gambling sites must comply with the laws - primarily for the safety and security of esports fans but also for the sake of themselves.
ALL pro teams head to workshop + video (17 comments)
Posted by PuertoRican @ 05:29 CDT, 9 September 2009 - iMsg
Its that time once again, time for all pro gaming teams to head away to their workshops.

Around this time every year, 11 of the 12 pro gaming teams head out across South Korea, or even to different countries, for their team workshop. A workshop is a 3 day event where a team comes closer together by building a stronger friendship with its teammates and coaches, as well as discussing the past and upcoming season, and obviously to just have a vacation from their normal life of being on the computer most of the day.

As we’ve seen already, Woongjin Stars, SK Telecom T1, and the Hite Sparkyz are among a few teams who have already left for their workshop, while teams like KT Rolster and eSTRO left today to Taebaek and will return on the 11th.

CJ Entus will depart to Incheon, where they will spend two days and three nights going over strategies and having fun all together. You can watch the 2008 workshop video that was filmed while on location in Pocheon, Korea (pictures here). They went white water rafting, had paint pall tournaments, stayed in a big house, and cooked some nice barbecue, among other things. This first tutorial is played out on Blue Storm, against a popular online commentator that goes by the name of FinlandSC_Zerg Ahzz. The game itself is a Terran vs. Zerg, and the length is about 23 minutes.

Today the CPMChallenges CTF and Duel tournaments will officially kick off. Players and teams should start finding their First round matchups and start reporting matches as soon as possible. Rosters and seeds have been locked in, and results for matches need to be reported by September 17th to either United States of America nineX or Lithuania eThaD in the #CPMChallenges channel on Quakenet.

The tournament will kick off September 21st, with a single elimination bracket where the final 16 will be going into double elimination. The map pool will be dm2, dm4 and dm6 plus additional maps depending on the outcome of the signup vote.

Signups just opened, and already the list of signups show some familiar names.

Former CPM hero and legendary movie maker Latvia subz has put together a small piece of art for one of his favourite games back in the days: UT99. You might remember his skills from other well known movies such as Rocket Science (Q3) and The Oblivious (UT), and again he comes up with something quite refreshing, me thinks. But go check it out yourself.
Excello Quake Live Cup *UPDATE* (66 comments)
Posted by Kruzz @ 08:00 CDT, 7 September 2009 - iMsg
Update: After only a few days of open registrations and several big name signed up, we here at Excello have decided to revamp the tournament a little to make sure that everyone gets a chance to take part and only the best are included in the final tournament. First of all we have decided to close the registrations at 17:00 CDT, 12 September 2009. Once they're closed we will directly invite 16 players from the list to the final competition.

The other players will play in a Single Elimination BO3 style tournament for the remaining 16 spots. We feel that this suits the community best; seeing how everyone gets a chance to play and only the top tier players progress into the final tournament. The Selection Tournament will be held on the 13th of September at 12:00 CDT.

Also, we have been thinking about changing the ZOWIE QL Cup to Double Elimination format; however, a decision has not yet been made and we appreciate any input you might have. - if so post something in the comments below the post.

Team EG's Chance Releases Quake Bible (151 comments)

Taking a break from dueling, Team EG's Chance Lacina took a stab at writing his very own guide to Quake Live, for both beginners and hardcore gamers alike. His guide, a four part Quake Bible, takes a more philosophical approach at dueling in hopes of guiding readers to make the right decisions both in-game and out.
This article is structured around insight. Insights are the foundation for your improvement; the building blocks of your game. They enable you to make the right choices at the right times. Without them, you can't build a structure strong enough to carry you into the next level. Remember that in every step forward there is an often hidden insight holding it in place that you must find in order to further establish it as your strength. Meaning, if you're playing great - there's a reason why. You have to find that reason to retain that level of play. If you're playing miserably, there's a reason why. You have find that reason and stamp it out.

The following sections primarily contain insights to help you improve your game on your own, this is the most important thing you can learn. You won't always have someone to tell you how to play. Irregardless I cover a few key subjects that should be your primary focus every time you play. Those two subjects are enemy status and timing. We'll get to them a little later. For now, we need to understand some principles to keep your head together.

Part 1: Intro and Discipline
Part 2: Presence and Enemy Awareness
Part 3: Resource Timing and Aim
Part 4: Motivation, Resolve, and Conclusion

Bolted Warsow Bomb & Defuse-cup finished (36 comments)
Posted by blaze @ 12:00 CDT, 6 September 2009 - iMsg
Update: Grand finals was played between Jitler Hugend and Team Zissou in a very exciting 3 map game. Cocaine, alley and wbomb1 was the maps, where JH dominated the first map but then had a tough time in the upcoming two maps. Zissou managed to get two straight maps and therefore won the cup! Congratulations Team Zissou for the first Bomb and Defuse-title! Demos can be found on ESR.

The groupstage was played best of 1, but as we proceed to the playoffs the teams will instead play best of 3, single elimination.

2 teams from each group will proceed to the playoffs. Group A is finished and Group B have a few games left to do. So from group A we'll see Team Zissou and rndm take on, as it seems now, Jitler Hugend and Lost in Nirvana from group B.

To watch make sure you join warsow-tv at tv.warsow-esport.net:44400. My guess is that the playoffs will start in about ~30min (~19.30 CSET), but there's matches going on all the time. So don't hesitate to join and watch!

At first it supposed to be another youtubish clip on the net showing of my demos. But then other people got involved into the project so it became a sequel for the so called sinex'' trickography. This is why the quality is quite poor for todays standards, so don''t bug me about it.

Anyway I'm happy i involved these people in. So what you're about to witness is these ''glitchy'' edited tricks mixed with 3 different genre soundtracks. And most probably this is the last NGA productions project.
