Finding the best CSGO gambling sites in 2019 is not that easy. CSGO gambling has had a chequered past to say the least, with many sites being shut down and penalised because of illegal activity.

There is clearly a demand among some Counter-Strike lovers to bet on their favourite game but for the sector to be sustainable long-term, CSGO gambling sites must comply with the laws - primarily for the safety and security of esports fans but also for the sake of themselves.

Pro League 08-09 grand final VODs (12 comments)

The Shinhan Bank Pro League 08-09 season is now over, and unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know who won already.

The two day final was pretty exciting, with performances by Girls Generation and other music artists, beautiful weather (my sun burn is proof of that), and exciting matches by both teams, this was definitely a better final than the previous year.

Jaedong faced some hardships, Lomo and Killer excited the crowd, Best continued his failure, and Fantasy proved to be the ultimate nerd. The SKT1 head coach kept a large grin on his face the entire time with squinted eyes that were covered by large expensive shades, while the Hwaseung coach held his head at a lower than normal position and looked like he was being punched in the gut after every match on the first day.

Vo0 interviewed by SK-Gaming (16 comments)
Posted by zappater @ 14:46 CDT, 9 August 2009 - iMsg
Vo0 recently won Quake 3 CPM tournament at Dreamhack Summer and SK-Gaming made sure to get an interview with him. Talking about the future of Quake Live and Deathmatch in general as well as his current connection to Fnatic.
What is your relationship with Fnatic, do you even have one? You are signed on their site but you never play for them.

I played for Fnatic last year, in the United States and Spain, for ESWC grand finals and since then I haven't played any tournaments under their name and I am pretty sure, this tournament was all by myself. I paid of my own way and didn't get sponsored anything so right now I have no affiliation with Fnatic even though I like the clan, the organization as a whole cause I have so much history with them. But I just play for myself right now and I don't really consider myself a professional gamer anymore since 2005 where I had a awesome year with Fnatic and Painkiller but ever since then I haven't been really serious about gaming and everything.

spart1e talks as well, with fnatic (15 comments)

Danijel "StreeT" Remusn from fnatic, who's going to have a busy Sunday, managed to find some time to ask a few questions to the Swedish party animal that Sebastian "spart1e" Siira stands for. Here is what you can expect from that read:
Fnatic.com: Who do you think your biggest competition will be at Quakecon?
Spart1e: Rapha. Really smart player thinking 5 steps ahead of his opponent. But fox will also be in really good shape, unless I play him in the final that is, hihi.

Feel free to read the rest at fnatic.com.

ESWC finds a new owner (42 comments)
Posted by xou @ 09:56 CDT, 7 August 2009 - iMsg
This afternoon was announced the new owner of the brand eswc ESWC, which was part of a bigger package. For 50 000€, Stéphane Cosse with his society DIP Communication now owns the many domain names affiliated with the brands, including ESWC. The French part of what's left of Games-Services was also included in the package, with brands such as "La Coupe de France des Jeux Vidéo" and "la Coupe du Monde des Jeux Vidéo".

The man is based in the south of France and already has a reputation in the international esport scene. He was the manager of the gaming center and CS team Adéclik back in 2000, which also held the Clickarena event in may 2003. This LAN is still remembered for its bad organization and some unpaid cash prizes. Since that, Stéphane was only involved in smaller projects. An few interviews in French with him will be published later today.

Also, the "Cyberleagues" package which contained all the rankings software was bought by Lan Festival for 1 500€.
