Finding the best CSGO gambling sites in 2019 is not that easy. CSGO gambling has had a chequered past to say the least, with many sites being shut down and penalised because of illegal activity.

There is clearly a demand among some Counter-Strike lovers to bet on their favourite game but for the sector to be sustainable long-term, CSGO gambling sites must comply with the laws - primarily for the safety and security of esports fans but also for the sake of themselves.

The RtCW-Cup III group stage is now over, with every game managing to be played - with some good tight games over the last few weeks we now go into the playoffs where things should really start to heat up. The Playoff games for the Cup have been scheduled, with a consolation bracket also running for the bottom 2 teams of each group for more games.

To catchup on any games you missed, watch any available demos and to keep track of upcoming games please visit the RtCW-Cup III Thread on crossfire - WTV and individual demos should be updated regularly.

Another big thanks to our hosting and support from YCN-Hosting and crossfire. also thanks to BaZ for providing a WTV server and all the people helping by camming WTV which has been great for whats left of the community.

Quake Live on ESL America (16 comments)
Posted by Rondrian @ 07:46 CDT, 19 May 2009 - iMsg
The ESL just launched Quake Live on their ESL America section with a 1on1 Ladder and a 1on1 Opening Cup. They also announced that they will start team competitions soon in TDM, CTF and maybe even CA.

The Opening Cup sign ups will last until the end of May and matches will start in June, there are slots for up to 64 participants. The ESL has not announced the system yet, but it will be Double Elimination or a Groupstage with playoffs regarding on number of sign ups.

The default public rules will be used for the ladder and the opening cup, while the ladder will be best-of-1, the cup will be best-of-3. The map list should consist of qzdm6, qzdm13, tourney4, tourney6 and tourney7. The ESL has already a very active European section with over one thousand players and a lot of competitions running.

Update: You can now also vote on the mappool, the five maps with the most votes get to be in the maplist. The poll runs until 31. May, they last day of the opening cup sign ups.

CPMChallenges NA 1v1 May Duel Cup (36 comments)
Posted by nineX @ 00:06 CDT, 19 May 2009 - iMsg
After a long drought of tourney-less North American CPM (and a busy schedule), I've finally found the time to run a decent 1v1 CPM tourney. Ideally I would like to run a 32-player tournament, but I will drop it down to 16 if there aren't more sign ups. Also, this tournament will have cash prizes which will be paid out after the Grand Finals have been played, by means of Paypal. I know that the prizes aren't much, but I figure it'd be OK to give the community something.

Brackets and rules are available on the tournament page. The sign ups are open from now until the beginning of the tournament. You must be idling the tournament channel (#cpmchallenges) for as long as you are playing in the tournament. To sign up, PM either admin and they will add you to the list.

Additional note: I would like to run a tournament for euro players as well, but I can't find any admins. If you are interested, please PM nineX.

Yes, that's right! Season 2 of Stickrunners is now over and it was a really fun season. We would like to thank all the admins who helped out with the games, GTV, review and of course all the players who made this happen.

Some of you may know that our reviews of the games might be a little bit late but don't worry, they will be there and so will the movies. We don't know yet when season 3 may start but it will be after the summer but there is no date for that yet, until then I hope you all will have a great summer and drink a lot of beers.

All the reviews, movies, demos & cartoons can be found on stickrunners.com. We will be back so don't go anywhere and we'd love to see you all next season, go out and party and have fun and we'll see you soon, gg wp!

New Map will be Hidden Fortress (62 comments)
Posted by Magician @ 05:21 CDT, 17 May 2009 - iMsg
Id Software has released some pictures of the first new map which will be added to quakelive in the near future, in what they call their "6 new maps in 6 weeks" campaign. The other five maps will be a mixture of brandnew and classic remake maps.

The map is called Hidden Fortress, and was originally a part of the sega dreamcast version of quake 3. According to the blurb the conversion is a medium sized map with three main rooms - perfect for 6-10 player team deathmatch, clan arena and free for all gameplay.

//edit Badboy
The quake 3 sega dreamcast mappack for pc, played with the old patch 1.16n, allowed to connect dreamcast and pc players to played against each other. the pack contained 2 new ffa maps, "Hidden Fortress" dc_07 and dc_15 "Gaze of the Abyss". Hidden was the better one, i can remember.

q3 remake standalone versions of both maps are released along time ago.

Quake-Live.tv - Beta Launches (32 comments)

In the next months id Software will released as promised the spectator feature QLTV for QUAKE Live similar like GTV for Quake3, Q4TV, ETTV for Enemy Territory.

In the meantime Quake-Live.tv starts working their shoutcasting stream and VoD site for QUAKE Live Tournaments. The site is in beta status right now but a few matches are already online.

The team behind "QLTV" (see) is known from QUAKE Wars shoutcasting EnemyTerritory.tv, including GreasedScotsman as a shoutcaster and well known person in the Quake Wars Community (trickjump movie series, QuakeCon shoutcasting etc).

The team still searching for writers, promoters and shoutcasters!

So we finally got some time to sit down for a quick podcast, unfortunately without LSV, to catch up on some things going on in the community. This episode we talk about some of the news on ESR, share a heartwarming story about Luis, discuss aph's continuing unemployment, and the US - Canada Quake Live match (*sigh*).

Check back in throughout the week as I hope to get and interview or two with some of the world's top duelers in Quake Live. "Who?" you may ask; you'll just have to find out.

Head on over to Ready Up Radio to download the podcast.
