Finding the best CSGO gambling sites in 2019 is not that easy. CSGO gambling has had a chequered past to say the least, with many sites being shut down and penalised because of illegal activity.

There is clearly a demand among some Counter-Strike lovers to bet on their favourite game but for the sector to be sustainable long-term, CSGO gambling sites must comply with the laws - primarily for the safety and security of esports fans but also for the sake of themselves.

Fragster talks with Matthieu Dallon (55 comments)
Posted by xou @ 12:39 CDT, 11 May 2009 - iMsg
Tonight fragster.de Fragster released an interview with the most popular man behind Games-Services and ESWC. Germany David "R0cK3r" Donschen could talk with France Matthieu Dallon about the Games-Services' bankrupt, the business model they used, the missing prize money from past events and the hypothetical future of the ESWC.
Do you think that we can see an ESWC event in the near future?
M. Dallon: Considering the necessary time for a potential trade-in and then, the minimum time to sale sponsorships offers and to produce the event, we shall wait until the end of the year.
The full interview is available in English on Fragster.de. Also the same author wrote an in-depth article, "The End of a Great Dotcom Idea", covering the situation surrounding the GS bankrupt.

After the recent news that the once legendary studio 3D Realms are shutting down, former employee Brian Brewer has released a video showcasing the gameplay of Duke Nukem Forever. He at least claims that this video was intended to be shown only to selected game developers, not the general public. However, these kind of videos has a tendency to sooner or later spread all over the Internet.

Swedish and new Polish QL servers (100 comments)
Posted by Paladia @ 19:04 CDT, 7 May 2009 - iMsg
The Poland Polish and Sweden Swedish server launch last week for Quake Live has been anything but smooth. The Polish server had routing problems and merely hours after the launch the Swedish servers suffered a hardware failure and has been down ever since.

However, now the Swedish servers are up and running again and another new Polish server location has been added (this time around apparently without the routing problems). Yet the freshly relaunched Swedish (Stockholm) based servers are still suffering from severe routing problems. Reportedly people who live right next to the server get routed all the way from Stockholm to Norway to Turkey and finally to Russia.

Nevertheless is great to see id make headway with the new server locations and it should be just a matter of time before this issue is resolved.
3D Realms Shut Down (44 comments)
Posted by Demiurge @ 09:43 CDT, 7 May 2009 - iMsg
According to the article from Shacknews and numerous collaborating sources they cite the Duke Nukem Forever developer has closed its doors.
The closure came about as a result of funding issues, our source explained, with the shut down said to affect both 3D Realms and the recently resurrected Apogee. Employees of both entities have already been let go.
However, later on, they have received a contradicting update in regards to the fate of Apogee.
Deep Silver and Apogee Software are not affected by the situation at 3D Realms," a representative for the companies told us. "Development on the Duke Nukem Trilogy is continuing as planned."
This does imply that there is a situation at 3D Realms. This sad turn of events comes after 3D Realms renewed the hopes of fans by having a journalist sit down and review their work as well a releasing a teaser.
