Finding the best CSGO gambling sites in 2019 is not that easy. CSGO gambling has had a chequered past to say the least, with many sites being shut down and penalised because of illegal activity.

There is clearly a demand among some Counter-Strike lovers to bet on their favourite game but for the sector to be sustainable long-term, CSGO gambling sites must comply with the laws - primarily for the safety and security of esports fans but also for the sake of themselves.

Quakeworld Clan Arena World League (21 comments)
Posted by clawunf @ 03:10 CDT, 3 April 2009 - iMsg
Hello fellow ESR readers! My name is Mexico claw, I'm new to the site and I would like to mention something very exciting that is being organized in the scene of Quakeworld. I am the admin of the Fusion QWCA League which basically started from scratch. I loaded up Quake1 after seeing all the new updates that have been made from the community and it made me realize that we haven't had a clan arena league in a while. Now this was just a small venture to get a few clans in USA since thats where I play mostly. But after venturing into different networks and clans I decided to make it a world wide affair.

In the span of 2 weeks, this has gone from rumor, to webpage, to getting servers up in USA, Europe, Brazil, Chile, Australia. The league is setup so that each clan in each division plays primarily against clans in the division, but of course to spice things up were going to have intercontinental play where every month 1 or 2 matches will be played. That means a clan from USA might play a clan from Brazil, or a clan from Europe or a clan from Australia.

Also we are working on a current clan arena mod that is going to have nice nice nice goodies. This mod is just being tailored for league play which has nice options. There is a nice variety of maps to be played, some which range from the original quake1 maps, a quake 2 map, a quake 3 map, and a few others. So everyone that plays any other game should give this a try so we can have lots of teams and players. My goal is to try to have an organized league so that maybe perhaps we can get recognized and have serious competitions sponsored, its a long shot but this is where it starts.

FileFront is Back (65 comments)

FileFront has been bought back by the original founders from Ziff Davis Media and will NOT be shutting down.

After learning about Ziff Davis Media's plan to shut down FileFront at the end of March, the original founders of FileFront made the decision to buy it back from Ziff Davis Media.

We're happy to announce to the gaming community that as of today, April 1st, 2009, FileFront is a completely independent company again and is no longer part of Ziff Davis Media. All previously suspended services should be active and working again. We thank Ziff Davis Media for their cooperation and willingness to keep the site and community alive.

And no, this wasn't an April Fool's joke.

Control is a movie about 2 mods: Defrag and CPMA. The cast features NoGhost (PR 1.16) mod players that started playing on 1.32 and somewhat became successful with that.

- Part 1, Defrag, features crazy fast caps & runs, times of those are highly ranked.
- Part 2, CPMA, probably not hardcore frags but bearable I guess. Most of frags are from flag modes (CTF & NTF) but still managed to pop in some TDM & 1v1 footage.

Creator comments:
So for some time I've been wanting to make a Q3 movie. After realizing that my footage is pretty crap.. I needed someone to help me out with that. Fortunately, Nightmare was willing to do it and sent me loads of footage on 08/01/09 (when project started). I know I'm not the best when it comes to editing and/or fragging but I had loads of fun while making this movie and hopefully I get to make another one soon :)

Sombra strikes back (118 comments)

It has been 6 months since the QQC admins team caught Spain Jordi "Sombra" Orteu cheating (with him revealing this information by sending his endgame screenshots showing that a wallhack and a radar were being used). After more than 1400 comments, this case slowly faded away and disappeared in time. Sombra was never seen since then. We all thought that the fact he cheated forced him to leave the quake scene for good and we'll never see him again. We were wrong.

This morning Czech Republic Ondrej "Legie" Konecny received a judicial notice saying that he needs to appear in Prague's court on the 27th of April in the matter of: (wording)
"Complaint towards the subject www.quakequickcup.com in the matter of suspicion of committing the following crimes: false allegation, utter libel, damage to the good name."
It's definitely a shocker for the entire QQC admins team as it seems Sombra took this matter much more seriously than we all expected. We'll bring you more information on the 27th.
OGN All Star match - Protoss vs. Terran (19 comments)
Posted by PuertoRican @ 05:29 CDT, 30 March 2009 - iMsg
Today’s match looks to favor the Protoss race as Bisu, Stork, JangBi, and Best take on Flash, Leta, Nada, and Hwasin in the OnGameNet All Star Race Battle.

First up at 04:00 CDT, we have Stork versus Flash on Tau Cross. This will most likely be a tough match for Flash, as Stork is extremely experienced on this map and has been doing very well this year in PvT matches. Flash on the other hand has been struggling to keep an even TvP record this year, and the map isn’t in his favor.

Since the winner of each round gets to pick his next opponent, Stork would probably pick Leta to go up against, as Leta showed in his last game on Destination that he isn’t able to take on a player such as JangBi on that map, let alone Stork. If Flash wins, he would have a hard time picking any of the other players, as they are all very good on this map.
