Finding the best CSGO gambling sites in 2019 is not that easy. CSGO gambling has had a chequered past to say the least, with many sites being shut down and penalised because of illegal activity.

There is clearly a demand among some Counter-Strike lovers to bet on their favourite game but for the sector to be sustainable long-term, CSGO gambling sites must comply with the laws - primarily for the safety and security of esports fans but also for the sake of themselves.

Just a few days ago, Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel joined the Friends of Full Tilt Poker roster and we managed to get him to answer a few questions. In this interview he talks about how his gaming career started, how he got into poker, what his relationship with well knows poker player and Full Tilt Poker shareholder Chris Ferguson is and more.

"Fatal1ty: Chris Ferguson - He's a gamer too and just overall a great guy. I have the honor of saying "Jesus is my Medic" in Team Fortress 2 Game. :) We teamed up one day where I went around with a rocket launcher and Chris healing me from behind while I killed any and everyone who came in our path :) "

Ask Cypher Interview (76 comments)

EUQL have published an interview with renowned Quake player Belarus Alexey "Cypher" Yanushevksy in the first installment of their Ask... feature series.
You once said being a pro gamer for life isn't your dream and you’re only playing because it's what gives you enjoyment. Do you still think that way? (unHuman)

Ye. I like to play and the competition is what I enjoy. That's the most important and my goal is to be the best, my goal is not to become a pro-gamer. That is more the result of things. Because I do many things outside gaming I don't consider myself a true "pro-gamer" although I obviously make money from it and gaming of course is an important part of my life.

MYM kicked out of the G7 (157 comments)
Posted by Paladia @ 09:34 CDT, 27 March 2009 - iMsg
Due to the troubles MYM has had recently, resulting in them resigning their ever popular Starcraft and Warcraft squads, G7 has taken the harsh decision of kicking them out of their prestigious organisation.

"This is certainly a difficult moment for the G7," remarked Alexander T. Muller, one of the federation's senior and founding members. "MYM, as represented by Mark "Mercy" Fries, was an extremely productive and important member in his time with the G7 Teams. However, while it isn't easy to dismiss such a significant presence as the MYM brand, this decision was made swiftly and with much certainty. The G7 Teams will continue to move forward and fulfill our organization's mission."

With the removal of Meet Your Makers, the G7 Federation of Teams currently consists of seven members: Craig "Torbull" Levine (on an individual basis), as well as compLexity, Evil Geniuses, Fnatic, Made in Brasil, Mousesports, and SK Gaming.

After "The BuLL got M1lked" was finished, we thought it would be great to make a movie of a player that has been there and done that.

It all started when this guy downloaded the RtCW MP demo in 2001. When he got better and better, he was asked to join Benelux Kreaturen and became a key player in one of the best RtCW teams at that time. Solid teamplay and an aggressive aiming attitude were his qualities.

"He had such a deathmatch attitude in RtCW that he could take down 3 people without breaking a sweat." iTG TosspoT
After the EuroCup final against Netherlands mysod, he decided to move to Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. Benelux Kreaturen was his first team, with the likes of gaz3ta, dozer, Night, syL and others. He competed in the first EuroCup of ET and after some months he decided to start his own team.

In the spring of 2004, Azz0r was his companion in the Kodler.ET adventure. He kept the team together for nearly 2 years and they played against all the big names in ET's history.

The movie you are about to see contains frags up until 2006. Some of you won't recognize several opponents, but believe me, they were all known and "oldschool" at some point in time.

GamesTV.org Saves Radio iTG Casts (19 comments)
Posted by Nellie @ 10:03 CDT, 24 March 2009 - iMsg
Great news for aficionados and fans alike of the once great shoutcasting station Radio iTG. Shoutcasts from over the past ten years of Esports history were due to be lost to the vast wilderness of internet oblivion with the closure of Filecloud – that was until GamesTV.org stepped in.

GamesTV.org, in collaboration with former iTG caster Tosspot managed to retrieve & copy all the hosted Radio iTG casts and shows to the GamesTV.org server, enabling them to remain publicly available for the foreseeable future.

One thousand and sixty five casts, hours of coverage, over 32GB of content has been transferred. Casts from the much loved games such as Quake 3, Call of Duty, Enemy Territory and Counter Strike, including the many great shows such as Epileptic Gaming, Just Push Play, Urban Radio, The Source & E T Phone In, have all been saved.

If you’re in need of nostalgia this Spring, to reminisce in the great days of competitive gaming, when casters synonymous with their scene graced the airwaves, the likes of djWheat, Trillian, TosspoT, ReDeYe & Syn, when players, casters and fans alike played & spectated the games they loved, head over to the Shoutcast Section of GamesTV.org!

Much love and thanks goes to the kind crew of GamesTV.org
OGN & WCG extend partnership (4 comments)
Posted by PuertoRican @ 20:34 CDT, 23 March 2009 - iMsg
The World Cyber Games (WCG) and OnGameNet (OGN) TV channel continue their relationship for an extended period of time

Just recently, the CEO of the WCG, Kim Hyung Suk, signed an extension for the OGN TV channel to globally broadcast its event until the year 2010. This brings great hope for everyone who has been talking about the possibility of the WCG folding, due to lack of sponsorship.

OGN has been the broadcasting company of choice for the WCG since 2006, where the grand final was held in Italy. Though many say it was the worst grand final ever, in terms of location, OGN did its very best to bring the world high quality videos, which is why they will be under contract for a minimum of 5 years in total.

This also brings great news to the Starcraft community, especially on a global level, as the WCG is basically the only offline event that is left, and it has greatly helped thousands of gamers come close to one another over the years, and given many people the chance to see the world by playing video games, when they might not have had the chance otherwise.

Custom PC eSports Article (82 comments)
Posted by ini @ 07:51 CDT, 23 March 2009 - iMsg
In Issue 068 (May 2009) of British Magazine Custom PC Stuart Andrews has written an article on the present situation in eSports and looks into what the future might hold.
Still, at least eSports holds sufficient number of competitions to satisfy gamers. But is there enough money? Some evidence would suggest that there isn't. Between 2000 and 2002, the likes of the Fatal1ty might have scooped $65,000 or more in winnings. In 2005, he won $150,000 for the CPL World Tour Championship. By contrast, last year's most successful player, Alexey "Cyph3r" Yushanevsky, is estimated to have won between $20,000 and $30,000. Is professional gaming still a route to riches, or is it on a steady downhill slope?
The article covers several topics including eSports organisations, management, PC versus consoles and what it takes to go pro. Organisations such as the ESL, ESWC, UKeSA, and WCG are discussed along with the demise of the CGS, CPL, WSVG and xleague.tv.

The article also includes interviews with:
- United KingdomQuadV Paul "RedEye" Chaloner - QuadV Owner & Commentator
- United KingdomFourKings Ian "Javax" Leckey - 4kings General Manager
- United KingdomFourKings Jack "Callisto" Mason - 4kings CS:S Player
- United Kingdomdignitas v1 by Xeon Michael "ODEE" O'Dell - Dignitas Managing Director
- United Kingdomdignitas v1 by Xeon David "Zaccubus" Treacy - Dignitas Death Match Player
- United Kingdom Ray Mia - UKeSA Chairman

The magazine costs £4.50 in the United Kingdom. For thouse of you outside of the UK you'll have to rely on other means to read the article.
