Finding the best CSGO gambling sites in 2019 is not that easy. CSGO gambling has had a chequered past to say the least, with many sites being shut down and penalised because of illegal activity.

There is clearly a demand among some Counter-Strike lovers to bet on their favourite game but for the sector to be sustainable long-term, CSGO gambling sites must comply with the laws - primarily for the safety and security of esports fans but also for the sake of themselves.

TCPM CTF 4v4 - Team Registration Open (19 comments)
Posted by TheMafia @ 19:47 CST, 27 February 2009 - iMsg
Team registration is finally open, EU seems to be ahead right now, and more teams on the way. NA players need to get their teams back into shape, but more importantly to create teams. The teams that form now will have a chance at getting themselves into international recognition. I do not plan to fall short of that myself with Team Kevegm, and I know many that are beyond my skill.

A few teams in NA are in record still a team, and I'm expecting good performance from them when the time comes, but to keep up with them, training with your new team is top priority.

Team Registration
To list your team for the tourney msg me: TheMafia on ESR or
Join United States of America Canada #uscpmpickup and/or Europe #cpmpickup on QuakeNet and pm me.

First ever cq3ctf 5v5 cup - Update (126 comments)
Posted by linkoo @ 13:55 CST, 27 February 2009 - iMsg
We're proud to announce our first 5v5 CQ3 CTF cup. We decided to go with CQ3 because VQ3 tends to become quite based on aim. The weapons in CQ3 are slightly tweaked and the movements are very similar excepted for the ramp jumps from CPM. The map pool will consist of q3wcp1, q3wcp9, q3wcp22, q3wcp15, q3w3, q3ctf2 and q3wcp5. All games will be played on EU servers.

One player in each team should be assigned as leader, whose task is quite simple: Schedule one match a week, take screenshots afterwards and send them to one of the operators in #vq3pickup / #vq3p.cups. Those screens will later be uploaded on the website.

Update: 2 out of 8 slots are still empty for the cup. We would love to get two more teams in order to make a clean 8-teams bracket. Feel free to apply by contacting an admin in #vq3p.cups!

QUAKELIVE open beta open (581 comments)
Posted by dallow @ 04:13 CST, 27 February 2009 - iMsg
Taken from Quake Live News:
First, we want to thank everyone who has been playing, testing, providing feedback, inviting friends and hopefully enjoying the QUAKE LIVE closed beta. We've grown considerably over the past 6 months and are now excited to announce that we're opening QUAKE LIVE to the general public as an open beta the evening of Tuesday, February 24th. On Monday morning (U.S. central time) we'll be taking beta.quakelive.com down for about 36 hours and then opening to the public at www.quakelive.com on Tuesday evening.

Coordinated with the open beta will be a stats wipe and pruning of player accounts, however we want to make it as easy as possible for all of you to transition over. On Monday, we will be deleting the player accounts of people that have not played in the last 28 days. If you have played within the past 28 days, you will lose your stats, but will NOT lose your player name, custom settings, profile information, etc.. When the site opens again on Feb. 24th, you will be able to use your current email address and password to login as usual. If you have friends that haven't played recently, but will want to maintain their account, let them know that they should play a game between now an Sunday. After Tuesday, we do not expect to ever completely wipe QUAKE LIVE player stats again.

We're going to post some additional information in the Developer Notes about the opening of the game, what it means to leave the 'beta' tag on the site during this time, and discuss some features and functionality that we're planning for the next couple of months that we know you'll be interested in. This is a very exciting time for the project and we hope that all of you, who have contributed your time and feedback, share in that excitement. We hope all of you continue to be active contributors to the game as we work to make it better for months and years to come.

id Hires ProMode Author For QuakeLive (228 comments)
Posted by RogeR1 @ 06:13 CST, 25 February 2009 - iMsg
As part of our QuakeLive public beta launch coverage, QuakeUnity brings you an interview with id Software's John Carmack and Marty Stratton. John and Marty discuss the QuakeLive backend infrastructure, their work with mod authors to bring additional features to the game, and the hiring of developers from inside the Quake community. Additionally, the duo weigh in about the complexities of the technology behind QuakeLive, the possibility of licensing the system, their commitment to stop cheating, and the marketing strategy behind the game.
Although id Software has no plans to allow user-made modifications to be incorporated into QuakeLive, they have gone out of their way to hire one of the most successful Quake III mod authors to help them with their project. id revealed to QuakeUnity that Kevin "arQon" Blenkinsopp, author of the popular mod Challenge ProMode Arena (CPMA), has been hired as a contractor on QuakeLive. If you're not familiar with CPMA, it is the premiere mod of choice for Quake III tournaments. It includes competitive features such as modified gameplay physics, multi-view demos, and highly customizable HUDs.
