Finding the best CSGO gambling sites in 2019 is not that easy. CSGO gambling has had a chequered past to say the least, with many sites being shut down and penalised because of illegal activity.

There is clearly a demand among some Counter-Strike lovers to bet on their favourite game but for the sector to be sustainable long-term, CSGO gambling sites must comply with the laws - primarily for the safety and security of esports fans but also for the sake of themselves.

Hihi! Well, as there has been a long absence of 2v2 from the "competitive" scene (lol) I have decided to organize one for you hippies. I will be talking to some members of the community to get GTV/Shoutcasting as well as having the servers prepared. If anyone would like to help, please feel free to contact me as a couple of referees would be nice. As it stands there is only 8 slots, if there is enough interest i will make it 16.

E-mail me your rosters, with team name, captain and means of contact before January 20, 2009!

Tournament begins: 12:00 CST, 24 January 2009

With days until the end of 2008, the time has come for various rundowns that sum up the year somehow. Over on SK Gamng's site Poland Carmac has picked out nine players: three that will want to forget 2008 ever happened, three that have succeeded and three that will have mixed feelings about the last 12 months.

The list of players that would want to forget about 2008 is particularly interesting because no one would have predicted that the year would turn out sour for them. Mandatory snippet:
It would be simpler to weigh all of Russia Cooller's trophies than to count them. This is the shortest possible way to sum up the Russian's career, although mentioning two ESWC championships, a silver and a bronze would do him justice as well. And if this man's best in all of 2008 was a fifth place, including domestic tourneys, then there is no other way than to label the year as one to forget.
The article also offers a selection of video interviews with Quake 3 stars and the demos of the best matches in 2008. SK's roundup can be found here.

Stamina 1 tournament - $500 prize (5 comments)
Posted by PuertoRican @ 00:53 CST, 19 December 2008 - iMsg
What is Stamina? Stamina is a new Starcraft tournament with cash prizes open to any players outside of Korea. The tournament will start out with an 18 day ladder based on ICCup. At the end of 18 days, the top 28 ranked players in the ladder will be qualified for the final tournament to fight it out for $500 in cash prizes. Throughout the event there will be in-depth coverage as well as VODs of the best games released.

Stamina also marks the start of a new ranking system for players of SCForAll.com events. A side ladder will be kept to keep track of player's finishes in the soon to be frequent events on the site. These rankings will help to determine invites and special events in the future.

As always, any feedback is greatly appreciated. We hope to start bringing many events to the non-Korean community, and any input you have to make these events better in any way will be greatly appreciated!

The Hilton Anatole Hotel to Open its Doors Again to Gamers Worldwide

MESQUITE, Texas - December 18, 2008 - As temperatures begin to fall and the holidays are fast approaching, it's time to start thinking about your summer vacation to the THE must-attend gaming event of the year - QuakeCon 2009! id Software and the QuakeCon organization has just announced that QuakeCon 2009, the world's ultimate video game festival and party, will take place August 13 - 16, 2009, in Dallas, TX at the Hilton Anatole Hotel. As always, the event is FREE to all attendees thanks to the support of id Software, the QuakeCon volunteer staff, and the 2009 event sponsors and exhibitors.

QuakeCon will once again host North America's largest BYOC (Bring-Your-Own-Computer) LAN party - with spots for nearly 3,000 gamers to hook their systems up and play on our world-class network. Of course, it wouldn't be QuakeCon without the drama and intensity of the big-money pro tournaments, featuring id Software's new free-to-play, web-based multiplayer game QUAKE LIVE. QuakeCon also offers non-stop fun and entertainment for those that don't bring their own computer. The world's leading gaming and technology companies will be on hand to demonstrate their latest hardware and software in the 35,000 square foot exhibit hall, and every day of QuakeCon is packed with contests, entertainment, announcements, panel discussions, and parties.

Online registration for QuakeCon will begin at [time=2009-03-06 21:30 EST]. Participation in the BYOC, tournaments, exhibits, conferences, and all other events is free of charge.

The Hilton Anatole is now taking room reservations for QuakeCon 2009 through their custom QuakeCon reservation page or through their toll-free reservations number, 1-800-HILTONS. To receive the specially negotiated room rate of $145 (single, double, triple or quad occupancy) and the special daily self-park rate of $7 (regularly $15 per day), you must request the group rate for "QuakeCon 2009" or book through the link above when making your reservation. You must be a guest of the hotel to receive the discounted parking rate during the event. The hotel requires a first night's deposit on reservations (refundable up to 48-hours in advance of the first day of the event). Rooms at this special rate are limited.

Companies interested in receiving information on sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities should email sponsors@quakecon.org.

More exciting details about QuakeCon 2009 will follow. Visit www.quakecon.org to get the latest information. Plan your travel, reserve your hotel room and BYOC spot, practice those gaming skills and prepare to be blown away by another awesome QuakeCon.

CPM TDM Nationscup (220 comments)

I'm proud to present 2009 years Challenge ProMode Team Deathmatch Nationscup!

We'll start off with the old ClanBase's procedure. If you want to be a captain of your nation, apply through sending a mail to cpmnations@gmail.com with a nice motivation why you should be selected as the captain of your nation. Make sure to include your name, nick, nation and where we can find you at IRC.

Make sure to apply before Saturday the 3rd of January. Sunday the 4th of January we'll select the captains and make it official.

Second step is for the captain to assign a team. Of course the captain should consider everyone of his / her nation and not to pick out the few friends he / she plays with.

The actual cup starts at 1st of February and the rules will be released later on.

To get as many teams to sign up as possible we decided that nations with a very small amount of players can team up with other nations to become a team. Example: The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg may team up and create a team. Also we decided that a nation with a very large amount of players may assign 2 captains and 2 teams.
The teams are not allowed to have more than 6 players + coach.
