Movies are an important part of the Quake and AFPS community. Not only are movies a great way of introducing new audienc...
Finding the best CSGO gambling sites in 2019 is not that easy. CSGO gambling has had a chequered past to say the least, with many sites being shut down and penalised because of illegal activity.

There is clearly a demand among some Counter-Strike lovers to bet on their favourite game but for the sector to be sustainable long-term, CSGO gambling sites must comply with the laws - primarily for the safety and security of esports fans but also for the sake of themselves.

So griffin sends me this stash of demos and I'm like wtf do I do with em brah and he's like make me a movie yo so yea here ya go.

VQ3 with 1 CPM run.
1280x720
30fps

I didn't use motion blur cuz I wanted the vid to feel really chaotic and intense. It runs for about 4 minutes and 12 seconds. Lots of first person action for the pov freaks. Turn up the volume.

This movie is NOT suitable for finnish movie directors and their sidekicks

edit : All versions up. Big thanks to Liam, Roger, masta and Tchouky for mirrors! <3

TourneyCPM 1v1 & 4v4 CTF (57 comments)
Posted by TheMafia @ 23:56 CDT, 28 October 2008 - iMsg
Currently from the depths of CPM, the order of the tournaments has been set: the 1v1 tournament will be the opener, followed by the first CTF tournament since the teams are out of touch and need to re-group and the individual players are on the rise. The feed back has been good so far, but a lot more is needed before the tournaments begin. TourneyCPM is looking for NA/Euro admins and representatives. To get a position you simply have to message an admin on esr ESReality or mIRC #tourneycpm. Note: the maplists are still not set.

Three groups exist: Seeders, Admins & Representatives. Representatives being a new group who are influential/active players in each community, who will represent the stated parties, in terms of rules, scheduling and other communal actions.

At the end of each grouping->tournament->final for each Continent, there will be International Seeding combining 7-10 top scoring players and teams from each continent. Hosting and website are being arranged for the tournaments, with community building features, team sites, team private pages, powerful admin tools, and demo/short movie hosting. The search for sponsors starts now, with prizes or advertising as the options. Message me for opportunities in this regard, sponsors and sponsorship reps alike.

Quake Forever: QL changes to Q3 (71 comments)
Posted by Dronar @ 13:05 CDT, 27 October 2008 - iMsg
Since Quake Live hasn't been released yet we won't be able to host our own LAN-servers. We have tried to reach ID-software for 2 months now, trying to come to some sort of agreement. This has sadly not resulted in anything positive.

In order not to have players playing their games on german public servers with 10 spectators in the way we've decided to change the choice of game to Quake 3 Arena (VQ3).

Spart1e: I'm really hungry for revenge (58 comments)
Posted by adn @ 11:15 CDT, 25 October 2008 - iMsg
Last weekend the 22 year-old Swedish player shocked some of the community with his 2nd place at the eswc ESWC Masters of Athens tournament. On route to the final, Sweden Sebastian "Spart1e" Siira became the first person to knock Belarus Alexei 'Cypher' Yanyshevsky out of a competition this year after an exciting semi-final match.

Siira went onto the final in which he was defeated by SK Gaming's United States of America Shane 'Rapha' Hendrixson over three maps. In an interview with Four Kings, Siira has openly stated he will be looking to seek revenge for his loss.
"Rapha played really good; it's hard to play a player like him. He won this fight, but Spartaaaa are really hungry for revenge."

Sombra banned for life (1648 comments)
Posted by Legie @ 21:29 CDT, 24 October 2008 - iMsg
I am very sorry to announce that we had a cheater in Euro Duel League. The player, who showed some great improvement recently and did well in the d3porte tourney + won Oktoberfest provided and sponsored by quake.cz, Spain Sombra, cheated. Sombra sent his endgame screenshots just a few minutes after his match and probably didn't realise (or he did, but too late) those show and prove he was using a wallhack and a radar cheat. I have no choice but to ban him for all QuakeQuickCup.com tourneys, including the upcoming Nations Cup.
I'd also like to thank Sweden Fox, Germany K1llsen, Poland Thrawn, Hungary Dash1 and the others for helping me to discover this.

Posted by _2 @ 17:19 CDT, 24 October 2008 - iMsg
After soon having successfully run three North American Quake Live 1v1 Cups, we are attempting to reach 64 players for Cup 4. Cup 1 had 16 players and was won by illusionS. Cup 2 had 32 players and was won by EG.chance. Cup 3 is nearing the end, with testament and fake_id set to play each other tonight, the winner playing FienD, and the winner of that playing EG.chance for the Grand Final.

Cup 3 Bracket

If you're interested in signing up for Cup 4, join #naql1v1 on irc.quakenet.org and send a message to myself, 2, letting me know that you want to play in Cup 4. Europeans are welcome to enter, but matches will be played on U.S. servers. Let's try to get 64 players!
GAMER STEREOTYPES DEBUNKED? (20 comments)
Posted by lolograde @ 14:40 CDT, 24 October 2008 - iMsg
ArsTechnica.com has a summary on a recent study done by IGN Entertainment and Ipsos MediaCT that says all the myths about gamers be pudgy, lonely, and poor are false!
"Based on the research, it's obvious that the gaming market has outgrown many commonly held stereotypes about the relative homogeneity of video gamers," said Adam Wright, Director of Research for Ipsos MediaCT. "Today's gamers represent a wide variety of demographic groups: men and women, kids, parents and grandparents, younger and older consumers. All this underscores the fact that gaming has become a mainstream medium in this country that appeals to people from all walks of life."

Microsoft Sidewinder X5 review (41 comments)
Posted by mahmoodsdotjpg @ 12:05 CDT, 24 October 2008 - iMsg
Earlier in the week, GGL reviewed the Sidewinder X6 keyboard, and now we'll review the Sidewinder X5 gaming mouse. The X5 is a remix on last year's Sidewinder release, removing the weights, LCD and customizable mouse feet. Is it worthy?

Here's an excerpt:
Many of the performance issues related to mice simply come down to personal preference. Teflon mouse feet vs. plastic mouse feet is one of those things. There is one problem, however, that is not subjective:

Laser mice skip easily when used at low sensitivities. The Sidewinder X5 is no exception to this rule. When set at 400DPI and a low in-game/OS sensitivity, moving the Sidewinder X5 quickly caused it to skip nearly on command.

With that being said, I want to add that most gamers probably will not encounter this sort of skipping, simply because they won’t be using very low sensitivites.

Microsoft Sidewinder X6 review (29 comments)
Posted by mahmoodsdotjpg @ 12:30 CDT, 21 October 2008 - iMsg
How are you gentlemen. I am contacting you on behalf of BILL GATES president of Microsoft and creator of Microsoft Sidewinder X6 gaming keyboard. Recently MR GATES has fallen ill and asked me to wire you €100,000 and information about Microsoft Sidewinder X6, made for very hardcore gamers, for you convenience.

Here is sample:
As mentioned before, the number pad detaches and moves over to the left side of the keyboard. This is accomplished via a proprietary connector and a couple of magnets. Once the numpad gets near the magnets on the keyboard, it snaps itself into place perfectly. You don’t have to dick around with aligning the connectors or anything–it’s a very seamless transition.
