Just when you thought it was safe to put away your Quake 3 for 2008 in the US, Chris Moncivalles and Warfactory.net are pleased to present the BenQ Quake 3 Challenge at Warfactory 2008.
BenQ has graciously agreed to provide 2ms HD monitors and CA$H as prizes for the Quake community to have a little fun before the end of the year.
1st place: 24” Wide 16:9 LCD
E2400HD + $250
2nd place: World 1st 22” Wide 16:9 LCD
E2200HD + $150
3rd place: $100
Tournament will be standard ESWC format

Tournament Format: Double Elimination Bracket, possible group stage based on number of entries.

Warfactory 2008 is a great midwest event to come out, meet up with friends, and have a little fun. With a Counter-Strike 1.6 tournament, a Call of Duty 4 tournament, we thought that the Quake players should get a little love too! Several US players have already expressed interest in attending so sign up now and let's have a good turnout to show sponsors that the Quake community can rally together and DM is not dead!
