Finding the best CSGO gambling sites in 2019 is not that easy. CSGO gambling has had a chequered past to say the least, with many sites being shut down and penalised because of illegal activity.

There is clearly a demand among some Counter-Strike lovers to bet on their favourite game but for the sector to be sustainable long-term, CSGO gambling sites must comply with the laws - primarily for the safety and security of esports fans but also for the sake of themselves.
Rustlers GameSafe Tournaments - Done (12 comments)
Posted by bigfoot @ 10:42 CDT, 2 September 2008 - iMsg
August has seen UK-based Counter-Strike: Source and Call of Duty 4 players battling it out in the Rustlers GameSafe Tournaments, a series of four different competitions spanning these two games where a variety of tasty prizes were on offer.

The CSS and CoD4 tournaments each carried a £1000 cash prize along with 5 goody bags for the winning sides. These goody bags were perhaps the pick of prizes as they contain a mini-fridge, mini-microwave, Saitek gaming gear and a 6 month supply of Rustlers to keep the winners warm in the winter months.

London MiNT were the victors in the CSS event, beating infused in the final by a score of 16-9, whilst relatively new side Phantasmagoria defeated 4Kings 13-7 in the final of the CoD4 team competition.

Individually Adam "4K^TW!ST" Cheshire won the CoD 4 FFA tournament, whilst Scott "aaroth" Macken picked up the CoD 4 70-Second Shipment Challenge title.

Full details are available on the Rustlers GameSafe site and a demo of the CSS final can be found here.

To celebrate 13 years of Command & Conquer and that we soon see C&C Red Alert 3 in the shops. EA has made the original Command & Conquer : Red Alert a free download! This is surely not the first time that EA Games did this, Last year they did exactly the same with the first Command and Conquer.

Once again; The version you download is the exact same version as you could get on the Command and Conquer : The First Decade package, which means it's Windows XP compatible. How ever, I do not know if it also works on VISTA.

Posted by Saharak @ 09:38 CDT, 28 August 2008 - iMsg
Few weeks have passed since the CQ3 Summer Cup held by ClanBase ended. The cup attracted a lot of players despite the summer time.

The purpose of this cup was to find out whether CQ3 has the required competitive potential and whether players enjoy playing it or not and I say with pleasure that it made the grade!

This resulted in opening of a CQ3 OpenCup. Sign-ups for the OpenCup are in progress and all players are more than welcome. More precise information is available on the cup page.
WCG Admin Talks Drug Use in E-Sports (56 comments)

Gameplayer.com.au has an interesting interview with the Australian tournament admin for the WCG on the topic of drug use in E-Sports.

Excerpt,
"In one WCG, a player I knew took amphetamines an hour before his match to boost his reflexes. His team ended up losing the match, although it certainly had an impact - his performance helped his team to win one map out of three - it kind of hits home that only the really talented will come out on top in the end."
The rest of the interview can be viewed here gameplayer.com.

Quake2 EuroQ2l #10 (47 comments)
Posted by CAREEM @ 22:56 CDT, 25 August 2008 - iMsg
European Quake2 League (EQ2L) is an online Quake2 Quake2 teamplay 4 versus 4 tournament since 2003.
"It is again that time of a year when it is time to change beach to Quake2 and sun to your monitor light, because Euroq2l is here with its 10th edition. Slovakia wision is leading the way again and he opened the signups yesterday evening. You have two weeks to gather your team and join the league. Signups will be closed on 5th September. League format is still a bit unknown, since it is impossible to know how many clans will signup so it will be decided later, but basic rules will remain same, which you can find here."

Update on Cadred.org
"Cadred has been researching into this deal and can confirm this is not a fake. Having spoken to Ms Summers from her office in Dubai, she has confirmed that this is a legitimate deal, and we are waiting for more information from her office regarding the buyer.

Although Angela Summers has had links to Game Frontier in the past, a phone conversation with Jaffer Mir has revealed that they knew nothing of this takeover bid.
After lengthy research we have unearthed the buyer of the CPL brand, however due to current contractual agreements that the buyer is currently involved in, we will not yet reveal his identity.
What we can reveal is that we believe his involvement in CPL will be a big boost for the brand name, and could really turn CPL's fortunes around."
