Finding the best CSGO gambling sites in 2019 is not that easy. CSGO gambling has had a chequered past to say the least, with many sites being shut down and penalised because of illegal activity.

There is clearly a demand among some Counter-Strike lovers to bet on their favourite game but for the sector to be sustainable long-term, CSGO gambling sites must comply with the laws - primarily for the safety and security of esports fans but also for the sake of themselves.

Marty Stratton on QuakeLive and esports (54 comments)
Posted by Carmac @ 15:42 CDT, 13 August 2008 - iMsg
QuakeCon 2008 was not just an opportunity to see how QuakeLive plays in competition or to have a shot at winning a car. It was also a very good place to find out more about id's games.

John Carmack's keynote revealed a lot of stuff. You can find out more from SK Gaming's interview with the QuakeLive producer Marty Stratton. Among other things he talks about the QLive match-making system, broadening the audience for the game and what it would take for id to make another Quake Arena game.

QCon: where Guitar Hero beats Quake (404 comments)
Posted by Carmac @ 13:22 CDT, 12 August 2008 - iMsg
It is been over a week since QuakeCon's final was played but not everything about it has been written. The story of the closing show of QuakeCon did not quite make it to the esports press until today.

A new video and a column by Carmac show an interesting perspective on an event where they encourage people to leave before the QuakeLive final starts and players have to wait three hours to start playing.

Here is a mandatory quotation from the article:
Then we sat through over an hour of Guitar Hero 3, a Quake tattoo show, a quick draw match, a Bawls drinking contest, about an hour or more of t-shirt throwing and contests for the first people to bring a bra / a pokemon item / whatever else to Marty Stratton for a Corvette lottery ticket. The list is longer but I would rather forget than remember the items on it.

The finalists sat tired and hungry, and jetlagged in the case of Cypher, as this dragged on for three hours while Hollenshead and Stratton took their sweet time entertaining the public.

You can read the entire thing right here.

Finally Neo, Thrill by Aziz "DrAgOn" Tazi is released.

After approximately 7 months of work, it's out and now available on a bunch of ftps and websites. This movie is about the best CS player in the world, the well known polish superstar : Filip "Neo" Kubski

It contains his frags during his period in PGS and you'll be able to enjoy a long 15minute fragpart featuring his finest actions.

The movie lasts 18 minutes and includes HLTV views mixed with 3D scenes of my own, plus a lot of real clips taken live to make you feel the tension during a competition.

This will be my last CS movie. I hope you would have liked them all and thanks to all the viewers.

Cached.net Demos (71 comments)
Posted by juggalo @ 19:44 CDT, 5 August 2008 - iMsg
Hello all, some of you might remember me from ch-us or cached.net or even just from playing quake 3. I used to run cached.net with cache, and towards the end he was pushing everything my way along with the backup for the demos. Well Recently I just moved and happen to find the DVD with all the demos from back then when all on one disk. I have no use for the thing now and bring it upon the community to help get these posted somewhere; so here's the skinny: I will send someone the DVD as long as they or people can vouch for the demos will be posted somehow and somewhere, this person has to live in the USA since I don't want to pay international shipping to send it. Once all is said and done there will be fresh demos from years and years ago for all to enjoy.

Either reply to this and I'll check it as often as I can to see where this will be going, or send me a message on this site and we can go from there, enjoy all. :)
