Finding the best CSGO gambling sites in 2019 is not that easy. CSGO gambling has had a chequered past to say the least, with many sites being shut down and penalised because of illegal activity.

There is clearly a demand among some Counter-Strike lovers to bet on their favourite game but for the sector to be sustainable long-term, CSGO gambling sites must comply with the laws - primarily for the safety and security of esports fans but also for the sake of themselves.
Next Wolfenstein Information revealed (71 comments)
Posted by TosspoT @ 06:47 CDT, 14 July 2008 - iMsg
The upcoming Wolfenstein title has been reviewed by August's edition of Game Informer and subsequently leaked by the kind people at the yoyogames forum. The upcoming title so far hinted at being called 'Secret War' has been previewed mainly from its Single Player narrative, though there are extensive in game screenshots that certainly wet the appetite of fans of the story. In addition to that there is one line regarding the multiplayer, stating it will follow in the footsteps of Wolfenstein: Enemy Teritory.

The title is being developed on the ID Tech 4 engine by Raven, though multiplayer is being handled by Threewave (though their was no mention of them in the article). The game is set for simultaneous release on XBOX, PC & PS3 next year.

1on1 with Sander "Vo0" Kaasjager (80 comments)

The ESWC Masters event in Paris was the first big test on how well he could do in Quake 3 for Netherlands Sander "Vo0" Kaasjager. It did not bring a definite answer, as the hero of the PainKiller era lost to Germany k1llsen and France lnk1n but took maps from United States of America czm and United States of America ZeRo4 who topped the group.

Where is this fascinating individual's place among the elite of Quake 3 players, how he handles the new experience of losing in practice all the time and why he is not affected by the shutdown of Amsterdam's Red Light District? The answers can be found in the video interview below:

Carmack and Stratton on Quake Live (47 comments)

Shack's Nick Breckon had a chance to talk with id Software co-founder John Carmack and executive producer Marty Stratton. The focus of the interview is obviously on Quake Live but there is some crazy talk on PC gaming and even iPhone development. Here's a snippet:

Shack: Getting back to Quake Live--is the plan still for the game to be totally ad-supported?

John Carmack: We think that there may eventually be some kind of--I think that there will likely be some kind of premium subscription at some point, but we really don't know what it is. We don't know what we want to offer.

It would not be eliminating the ads, because the ads are actually--if you turned the ads off in the game, it would look worse. The game is so wrapped around this kind of ESPN-ish look and feel that if all of those turned into blank billboards, it would be a detraction from that experience rather than any kind of enhancement...

Head on to the Shack for the whole piece.

Interviews from ESWC Masters in Paris (133 comments)

At ESWC Masters in Paris I made some video interviews and here are the first ones out. It takes a few days for Dailymotion to code the movies in high quality, so the ZeRo4 video is the only high quality now, but hopefully the others will be as good shortly.

Interview with ZeRo4
This interview was made early in the tournament where only a few games had been played. You get to know his opinions of the different Quake3 maps and what he has been up to last year.

Interview with Anouc
Anouc is an old school Quake player. At ESWC Masters she competed with her CS team Badgirlsclan and they won a spot an the ESWC Finals. She talks about her CS team and also about Quake Live.

Interview with Jibo
Jibo talks about how he has prepared for ESWC Masters and how he and Cooller will prepare for the next event.

**UPDATE
Interview with czm
The interview was made in the beginning of the tournament. Find out why czm prefers dm13 over nodm9 and how he as an old school player might have some advantages against the new school players.

http://www.dailymotion.com/tritoproductions/v...ideogames”>Interview with 4K^DDK
An interview with DDK while we were having lunch. This interview got banned from Dailymotion because of obscene language, so I had to censor it in this version. DDK has a unusual way to prepare for Quake 3 tournaments… He plays WarCraft 3.

Interview with fox
An interview with fox after the final game against Cypher. Fox talks about his games in the tournament. You will also get an answer to the question: “fox or fojji?”

I will have more interviews up in some days, uploading takes a while.

The Intel QUAKE LIVE Championships
QuakeCon 2008 will mark the debut of the first-ever Intel QUAKE LIVE Championships pro tournament.  QUAKE LIVE is id Software’s new game created to deliver the excitement and energy of a first-person multiplayer  game to a broader audience through a free and easily accessible browser-based experience.  The Intel QUAKE LIVE Championships will feature a classic $12,500 One Versus One tournament along with a $12,500 Capture the Flag Team Tournament.

The Activision Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars Team Championships

For anyone who’s dreamed of competing for prize money on the QuakeCon main stage, the Alienware Quick-Draw Challenge offers $10,000 in prize money to randomly selected attendees competing in special QUAKE LIVE competitions throughout the course of the event.

In addition to their prize money, the top 2 finalists and teams in each of the above competitive tournament events will also be given tickets to the previously announced “QuakeCon Ultimate Power Up” raffle contest, sponsored by Ventrilo, for the brand new 2008 Corvette.  Additional raffle tickets and eligibility will be subject to contest rules.

“QuakeCon 2008 will be the grand slam of competitive gaming with the best games and an amazing prize list,” said Todd Hollenshead, CEO, id Software.  “We’ve partnered with our sponsors this year to bring the top competitive players what they want most: skill based games, top money prizes, the most enthusiastic fans and audience and the world’s best Finals party!”

Todd Hollenshead on Rage (173 comments)
Posted by anal justice @ 07:23 CDT, 9 July 2008 - iMsg
The independent computer and video game magazine website Kikizo (mind you it's not Japanese) has a brand new interview with id Software's CEO Todd Hollenshead. He talks about Rage, the overwhelming id Tech 5 engine and what it means to the games industry at large. Here's a snipped:
Kikizo: To what extent would you say that id is in competition with Epic, both now and moving forwards?

Todd: Todd: Certainly from a licensing standpoint I think that right now those guys are quite frankly the industry leader, and we're obviously in competition with them because we're going to be talking to the same people about licensing our technology for similar types of games. I think that what they do with their tech is different than we do with ours in a number of respects, and so maybe there are some people that our technology fits a little bit better with; maybe there are some people that they have a better fit with Epic. And I expect that you will see that. But I really do think that regardless of whatever your preconceived notions of that technology are, if you're looking for something as a multiplatform solution, if you don't take a hard look at id Tech 5, then you are making a very, very bad mistake. Probably a mistake that ought to cost you your job.

The entire interview with this fascinating individual and Rage's lead designer Matt Hooper, is right here.
