"This third project of mine was supposed to be a ScrMz movie, but I didn't feel that I'm up to it, so i passed (sorry mate :/ ). Then, in a few days i watched Castor Fiber (by cristal), and got the feeling that I WANT to make a last UT2004 movie. Then, soon I decided, that I want to make a Hungarian community movie, and spammed the hungarian forums, but I got very few demos...then I decided let's make it a community movie, and spammed on IRC only ONCE, but that was more than enough. I got lots of demos from only a few players, and quickly sorted them out, and recorded aswell. Now you can see the outcome of this, I hope you enjoy it. :)"

I believe this movie contains nearly the best frags, that you have ever seen, or even that you have never dreamt about. On the other hand, it was kind of
pain in the ass to watch all kalias' demos (over 800), but it was worthy. After few months of working on it, I hope I've managed to create a very unique movie, that will attract you attention - you can expect very pr0 frags, hope smooth editing and 11 mins of synced action. :)

I would like to thank all people who helped me with this movie and especially soNky, who really saved my ass - she was the only one willing to help me with certain scene:P. Thanks Nat <3

Produced by renk of Hybrid Movies comes Mozaik, probably the most technical Quake 3 movie in terms of editing released. Naturally the tricks are mighty impressive, but they are also accompanied by a very refreshing soundtrack, steering away from the all-too-common psynerd beatfest.

Weighing in at a reasonable size considering its length and high quality, this movie should be downloaded, not streamed, to fully appreciate its visuals.

Yeap. its almost end of the year so its time to publish the worst fragmovie of the year (worst by editing, effects, quality and music) but
propably there are some great frags <3

After a few months of work (with long pauses lol) i release my personal first q3 fragmovie, bringing out the best from my last 2 years of gaming.
Video is captured at 50fps and contains frags/quadrun/flagcaptures from duel/tdm/ctf on OSP and CPMA vQ3.
I preferred to keep a lot of pov actions (enemymodel keel ftw \o/) and a minimum of cams and effects for a better in game feeling.
Greetings to my clan (#vinco) and a big thanks to Italy cicc1o for beta testing this video.
If anyone has problems reproducing this movie try to use VLC player.

I've always wanted to make a traditional frag movie, and I guess "soon" is about as close I will manage. Split into three main sections: TDM/Duel/CTF, each with its own personal soundtrack that I believe represents its game play style best.

Made for my friends in Lobstarz, and many thanks to Team Zissou for hosting the premiere.

augustus from linuxhardware.org caught up with icculus to find out what the hold up is with releasing the linux server and client for ut3 UT3.

icculus: it's stuck in legal

Legal? Seriously? Have you had legal involved in previous games?
icculus: Not like this, no. There's some issues with middleware

so is the hold-up indefinite?
icculus: Not indefinite. The politics should be worked out for the server soon, I'm removing the offending piece of code.

And the client?
icculus: That's going to take somewhat longer

From the sound of it, there is no ETA then?
icculus: I'm not committing to one

This is a Quake 3 fragmovie made by and featuring myself Slovenia xgo, bringing you frags from various gamemodes(duel,ctf,tdm) in VQ3 and CPM.
I've tried to get the best quality and the smallest file size possible. Q3mme was very helpfull and i wouldn't even do a movie if it didn't exsist. <3 Q3MME.

Its a 50 fps movie so u will need a strong CPU to playback the x264 version. Use VLC or mplayer.
