Well someone should add that because of age restrictions some of the already qualified players couldn't go (for ex. wrath).

for sure not wrath ... he's over 18 long times ago. the same goes for all the other qualified players.

well seeing what the Q3 community said about that ESWC should pick up q3 and then everything will be awesome, loads of players, loads of specs etcetc, but with 3 players turning up to an event from one of the biggest quaking countries is.... well, i just hope it aint a sign of things to come. Quakers already indirectly screwed the CPL, now it looks like they are on track to fuck ESWC up too...

the german 1on1 scene is not as active as the other eu-countries, i guess. everybody stopped playing.
germany is full of OSP CTFers and RA3'ers.

hmm the main-problem is actually, that every player in germany will lose to k1llsen. so noone can get the 1st place and the 2nd place has to be payed by the player himself. to get a sponsor for a trip to the USA in q3 is not an easy task. so i think that was also a reason for many players to forfeit their spot. the players that would have got the free slots from the players, that didnt attend, saw even lower chances for themselves to make it to the 2nd place. so there were only these three guys battleing it out.

anyhow its a pitty, that the lan-final was so small.

the online qualifiers had quite a few players, all 4 of them. The qualified ones just didnt bother to show up. I'd say they should have made no qualifiers and made the lan tournament open.
