welli am using kind of a slope that i taped to the monitor to hold the cable atm
but i guess a mouse bungee works better and it definitely doesnt look so crappy
There are much cheaper DIY methods but if someone wants something more fancy, why not, and mixing it with an USB hub isn't a really bad idea but it sucks that you can't turn of the lights.
Of course it's overprized and I wouldn't think of buying this thing for a second (allthough it will sell cheaper a few weeks after release).
I can't judge the quality of this USB hub but there are hubs for 5$ and hubs for much more. So if someone likes the design and gives a shit about spending 20$ or 40$, let them buy it.
PS: Don't forget it's gaming grade and will make you uber pw0n in CS. :D
was that sarcasm or do you seriously consider that thing's design worth any money?
it looks so embarassing i'd find it overpriced even if they paid you to use it
I was wrong about the price - in dollars, it would be $70. You're basically saying that someone would have to be retarded enough to justify a purchase of this product, where 3/4 of the price are on "design." Wait, why am I at all surprised by this?
I think you need to join Becks on my newly formed ignore list.
learn to read, i never said anything about this product. someone might find this worth its money in design. however i dont think you are the design type of guy, maybe you're more of a practical guy. either way its fine but i think you have to have understanding the other part.
you don't get it. if you don't shell out 70$ for an ugly piece of plastic that could easily be replaced by just about anything, you're not a design guy.
Makes the mouse feel more like a wireless mouse and is pretty cheap.
I was using tape on my monitor, but it would get loose and when I went to uni I couldn't use tape (small desks, laptop and didn't want to tape onto the walls) so I bought a mouse bungee.
It's pretty good, prefer it to the feeling of the wire on a desk.
Yeah, it was my mistake. I plan to buy another one and do it again without sanding, in one layer. In result, it should be kind of soft-touch surface, although i'm not sure that I will be able to achieve this manually (normally it should be applied using sprayer). However, even now I like much more how it feels in my hands, especially when they sweat. Kind of WMO surface feeling :)
all mice have the chord at the wrong place, i moded mine so chord exit at the back at the pinky side off the wrist. Almost wireless feel. haveing the chord at the front make one whip the chord around
