it's a project from 2009. I think it's kind of pointless now.
Even so, if they want to be successful they will need the 3 key factors that made quake live possible: free autodownload of the game (being q2 a good pak is a must), servers all over the world, and publicity.
Since it seems the project is just a server browser they can't comply with points 2 and 3.

edit: i think it's pointless because there's no new player base, so in the end it won't be used by anyone because old players use ASE or other server browsers, and also because quake live is just better in every sense. Yesterday I played some ra2 after about a year without playing and immediately noticed it.

yeah, q2 sux.

Id try it, tried downloading and playing q2 a few months back but couldnt join any servers because of some gl settings or something so I gave up.
