put Q43A folder in /steamapps/common/Quake 4

rightclick on quake 4 in steam client and set launch properties : +disconnect +set fs_game q43a

can`t complain you don`t have a cdkey for v1.4.2 or lost the cd, just have to start a listen server like in the video, lan or internet

lan just skips client prediction, neither will show up on q4master and the ingame browser

get yo mates to connect to your computer ip in their remote quake 4 and make your frag movies

you need a dedicated server, the listen server host can`t make netdemo`s, if your the listen server your netdemo will just be a black screen

steams a bag of shit and won`t let your clone a game so you can run multiple instances
